⚠️Eat at your own risk ⚠️ Hello! I’m a former employee and I wish to tell the public how unsanitary the kitchen is and that this place is not safe for you to eat at ( in my opinion from working behind the scenes for about a year.) At first glance Kung fu noodle is a beautiful restaurant with a lot of potential, but the kitchen staff/ managers are so disrespectful and rude to their servers it’s quite unbelievable that they’re still open with how they’re treated. They tax the servers cash tips and one of the “managers” have stolen from the Servers tips before with no repercussions. If the head chef is having a bad day , so is everyone else and he’s definitely gonna make sure of it, but that’s only the tip of the iceberg. They have a horrible roach🪳 infestation that they try to keep hidden from the public and whenever a server brings it to the attention of a head chef or “manager” we were told not to take photos and it was just left open ended. I would see them all the time when going in the kitchen to get my rice or egg drop soup . Not to mention that one time , our ice machine was broken and they had us use a tub of ice that we had to break up for our customers , that wasn’t an issue for me or any of the servers, the issue we had with that particular instance was they made us use a rusty hammer to break up the ice and we were just supposed to be okay with serving it to our customers. I felt horrible coming into work everyday knowing the things I saw that my customers didn’t know about all this stuff and I should’ve said something when I worked there but they made it so hard for any of us to have a voice , I just had to get this out somewhere because I cannot believe the work conditions of this place nor can I believe the health code violations.

We arrived and were seated quickly. Our server took a while to come take our order. Although the place is beautiful and warm with wood and earth tones our server did not relay that and was not descriptive when asked about the items on the menu. We ordered two soups and beef and pork dumplings. Our soups came out quickly. We each ordered a different cut of noodles. The noodles were plentiful and the broth was really good on the signature beef soup ...not as savory on the chicken noodle soup. We slurped away on noodles soups while watching the chef stretch and knead the dough through the window. That was a neat experience. Our dumplings took a long while to come out. We asked for chop sticks but were told they were out and offered wooden ones. Everyone else after us got real chopsticks to our chagrin. The steamed pot stickers did not have the beautiful folded look I am accustomed to. They were just pinched together. They were ok. Not bad, not the best, but ok. It was an overall good enough experience. We will likely give it another try in the future and update this review when we do.

First off, the food was delicious. I loved watching the chef making noodles, as someone with a culinary background and a general interest in food. The menu was easy to navigate, and the staff was great at first. However: My waiter, at the end of my meal, took my to go container from me without letting me put my noodles in it myself to "help" me, and then, when I was brought the dessert I asked for, (fried cheesecake), it was absolutely COVERED in whipped cream. Now I understand that I had soup, dumplings, and then dessert. I understand that I am fat. But it seemed literally excessive and like I was being treated like a child? I've never had an experience like this in an asian restaurant before, or from someone who looked to be around my age, like the waiter was. I'm honestly baffled, and will give this place another try to see if it was just the one instance--but it'll be a while.

The inside is really pretty but that is the only thing I liked about this place. My boyfriend and I both ordered ramen and two sets of dumplings to share, along with fruit tea. He ordered jelly in his and I ordered boba in mine, and neither drink arrived with anything in them. When our ramen came there were a couple small bugs in mine, so I couldn’t eat much after fishing them out. Only one set of dumplings came, the shrimp dumplings. My boyfriend is not one to dislike any kind of dumpling but he tried one and it made him gag and feel sick, so he lost his appetite. The server rarely came to our table and never checked in to see how anything was, so we just decided to ask for the check the next time we could catch him. We asked if he would take off the second set of dumplings because we never received them (even though we felt we shouldn’t be paying for anything because there wasn’t one thing that came correctly or that we liked), and he just went and got his manager. She came to the table and said they’re coming out in a few minutes (mind you this is already after we’d gotten our ramen 30 minutes prior, the dumplings come as an appetizer). We said no that’s okay, we just want them taken off so we can go, and she insisted that we were getting them. So alas, we waited another 10 minutes for dumplings in a to-go box that we weren’t going to eat, just so the manager didn’t have to take the price off our receipt. In reality, she should have looked at our table and saw we ate nothing, asked us how it was, and offered a refund. We are not the type to complain but there were just so many problems it left us feeling hungry and disappointed. It felt very greedy of them to have us pay $50 for a meal that was incomplete, had bugs in it, and that we did not eat. A restaurant will not improve if management does not care about the issues that go in in their kitchen. Accountability is important. Most likely will not...

I just want to say I love the food here, and that's the reason it gets a 5 star review, but manager Amy (i think that's her name she wouldn't give it to me) is one of the worst service providers I've ever experienced in the industry. She was very rude in a few ways. She tried marking up my bill without informing me, and the only reason i found out is because she was harassing my waitress, korynn (i think), for doing absolutely nothing wrong, in my own ear shot. I was baffled she'd do that, especially where I can hear it. I then confront her at the front desk about her behavior, and she treats me like garbage! I first kindly ask her to remove the up charge, and more importantly go apologize to the waitress (she never did). She fought me on the few dollars which was whatever, but this was all while feeding me plenty of lies. Told me it was her first day, and then by the end of the conversation it was her last day. And she told me she didn't have a name too. Refused to give me anyway to contact any higher manager. There were a good few extra lies that really drove me the wrong way, but safe to say I'd never want to interact with her again or have her be in my restaurant as an owner. Absolutely ridiculous the way she acted and treated people that day. But to end this on a good note the food is fantastic, service is great, atmosphere is pretty nice as well....
