Had a really bad experience with an off leash dog. I love that this store is dog friendly and I often bring my dog who is trained for protection. He is highly trained so luckily nothing bad happened when the off leash dog charged at us walking in the door. When my dog came through the door a small 20-30ish lb dog was off leash at the register and came charging at us. I told the owner to leash his dog immediately and he called her over but she turned away. A second later the dog charges us again and I yelled for the person to get his dog under control and to leash it but he laughed and told me to have a good day. The employees there watched and didn’t say a word. My dog was giving low growls but remained in the heel position. No contact was made but that dog was very close to my dog. When I asked the employee what their leash policy is she stated they didn’t have one. They ask not to bring aggressive dogs in the store and looked at my dog. I am perplexed that no one did anything or told this guy to get his dog under control. He may have thought it was cute to let his dog run around but it could have been a very dangerous situation. Ace, I really hope you put signs up for dogs to remain on leash or else something really bad is going to happen. I used to love this store but I don’t think I’ll...
Read moreSUPER DISAPPOINTED IN THE PAINT COUNTER!!!! I was there for over thirty minutes waiting for a sample of paint. A SAMPLE. They're tiny. The gentleman working the counter kept getting distracted and helping other customers instead of finishing my sample. It's real easy to say "I'll be right with you", I've been in the customer service field my entire adult career. I've had a lot of paint mixed in my 55 years on this earth, a lot. NEVER HAVE THEY EVER shaken a tiny SAMPLE of paint for 3 minutes. Usually just a minute, maybe 2. This guy set it for 3 minutes. Ok I wait the 3 mins (which is actually set for GALLONS, not samples) then after the 3 minutes he set it again for 3 minutes. No freaking way. You've seriously got to be kidding me. 6 minutes for a SAMPLE, after I've already been waiting 30. Nope. I walked right out that door. Super disappointing because we're going to be painting our entire home, inside and out. I guess I'll have to drive to a different city's Ace Hardware, which is about as ridiculous as shaking a...

But it’s fine y’all go through Gm’s like people go through deorderant. But this visit takes the cake. Had an emergency plumbing issue and had to high tail it there. Forgot what time y’all closed bc hello... emergency. Stepped out the car to get a washer...A WASHER!!! In and out like 2 minutes tops. Walking up to the door this tall bald dodo of a man stares us right in the eyes and locks the door right on us!!! As we’re walking away, he comes back just to see if the door is locked tugging at it to make sure it was. One of the rudest managers I have ever encountered. Will not be back. That’s why Lowe’s has better customer services bc you jerks don’t know how to treat people in need. Could’ve waited 5 minutes. It wouldn’t have killed you!!! You know...
