Iliana's Burrito Place — Restaurant in San Angelo

I was reviewing google for a place for tacos here in San Angelo and I came across this gem. Hands down the BEST food I've ever had in this unassuming little restaurant hole in the wall out of the way place. I think it was the owner who helped me and she was so nice and asked me exactly what I like spicy, medium, mild and what kind of meat do I like. She let me taste five six different things before I ordered my burrito. The spicy steak which is what I had is amazing great flavor and it made the back of my head sweat, which is what I like. I also ordered the Guiso which is spicy beef stew. She even let me taste what was cooking in the back which was chicken breast in green chillies which was so amazing I just got a bowl of that as well. If you like authentic Tex-Mex, Mexican food and you're in the area you need to stop here. FYI that also breakfast burritos because they open up at 5 a.m. and I'm going to be there tomorrow to get one. Oh and I forgot to mention they make homemade tortillas...

I love getting my breakfast burritos in the morning and I've gone to several different burrito places but I hadn't gone to Iliana's. Let me tell you, she has the best ones by Far. All the rest I've eaten are as greasy as they come. It's like they just can't serve them if they don't put all the grease they can on it. Iliana's somehow makes them with as little grease as possible (if any) making it nice to eat a burrito WITHOUT any grease running down your arm or soaking your napkin that holds it or even soaking the bag it comes in, and great taste as well. She has coffee, chips, fresh roasted whole peppers and awesome salsa, along with a dine in area just like the others and better/competitive prices. Why go anywhere else for breakfast or lunch for that matter?? BEST BURRITO...

Food there is very good but Iliana, (the owner) has no customer service skills whatsoever. I've been going there for about 3 weeks and ordering the same thing everyday. I went in today and they gave me something I didn't order. I get to work and confiding in the fact that it was my regular burrito, I took a bite and was very disappointed so I called her and she was very rude. She simply said "Bring it back and I'll replace it" I told her I was already at work and couldn't leave so she just said "Ok" and hung up. Didn't even care to apologize for the mistake or ask if there was something else she could do to fix it. NEVER going back there again. There's lots of other places who know how to treat a...
