King Buffet — Restaurant in San Angelo

Horrible experience all the way around. The food was bland, the egg drop soup tasted like water and the chicken in our Mongolian grill was RAW, the rice was crunchy and the noodles tasted like plastic! My older sister didn't eat she was so upset, my neices and nephew (age 6 and 5) didn't eat anything and my younger sister didn't eat. They left midway because they were hungry and left to eat dragonlicious. When it came time to pay our waitress basically said my sister left without paying. No she didn't, she paid for herself and her two kids (6 and 5) and my younger sister who I had ALREADY stated to the waitress I would pay for went with her because she was upset at the food and hadn't eaten. She brought the manager out and chastised us about who was going to pay for what, after we explained it SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE. There was 9 of us, 7 adults 2 kids. My sister was paying for herself and her two kids, I was paying for 4 adults and my parents were paying for themselves. I don't know why it was so hard for them to get this. At that point we just stood up and went to go pay we were followed by the manager and waitress like we were criminals. My dad, already upset with the food let the manager know the food wasn't good and we were all very very disappointed and he LAUGHED in my fathers face. We paid and left. There's a reason I don't go to this buffet we were set to go to the other one next to hooters but at my dad's insistence we came here. Our mistake and I was reminded why I stopped coming here years ago. I write this as we pull into the drive through at sonic down the road. Our waitress was pretty sorry as well, I get that her English was pretty bad thats not her fault but I had to ask her multiple times for doy sauce, multiple times for a sweet tea for for the children and a drink for my sister and sat with empty drinks more than often. Then came the the bill fiasco. SAVE YOURSELF AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I paid $61 to be harassed, laughed at and to eat...

First of all it was a party of 4 with a baby. Waiter sat us by the enter/ exit where there continuous traffic passing by us. 5 minutes later a different waiter pass by with tab ticket $49. The bathroom smelled like sewer, tables-floors-silverware all dirty. I was hoping this would be a great experience but,far from it. The food was cold. It took me getting 3 different sample plates of food to get full off of something and that wasn't much. I ate 2 plates of fresh fruit to curve my appetite. The sprite soda tasted like carbonated water, apple juice was so small just right for a toddler. My stomach turned all night until I went to bathroom and it's still gas up from the food. My other family members didn't like the food either. Waiter kept passing by as if he wanted to say can yall hurry up and leave you sampling to much food. Well if you never been there and don't what the heck you really eating you have to Sample it 1st. Anyway, my family member went and paid since guy want to bring tab shortly after we sat down so when we finally left the Asian nan wa t to come running out the door saying loudly YOU NEED TO PAY YOU NEED TO PAY . Evidently he wasn't on his job or to attentive because he would of known We Paid A Head and Was Still Eating....We will never ever ever eat there again or suggest anyone else..This place need to be shut down for a through cleaning and sanitation and food temp inspection and hold times on buffet. Dirty place in disrepair. I'm sorry, but you have GOT to clean your place. First, there was no soap in the women's or men's room around 4:15 on 3/13/24. The first toilet in women's stall was leaking water all onto the floor. The third stall potty had literal poo poo on it. I left restroom and told my hubby, " No soap!" and he said his dlidn't have any, either. Even a Softsoap would've worked . I went to the front to use the hand sanitizer by the register. Next, went over to look at the shrimp, which years ago used to be amazing. The ice tray they were laying on was wrapped in plastic, making the shrimp warm. The tongs for the shrimp were laying directly on the buffet table, instead of on a server plate or any plate at all. The sushi was warm. Styrofoam plates and large bags of Hefty plates covering where the ice cream table used to be. Filthy glass booths. Filthy entry doors.The broccoli in broccoli and chicken had wilted brown parts. The green beans were shriveled up, limp and sad, and I wonder how long or how many times they've been reheated. That's it, I'm out. I understand about hard times, but if you've got glass cleaner and basic soap and water, it goes a long way. Also, put a sign by the water on floor- somebody could fall and get hurt. Also, please don't leave an open box of green beans on a table where you shuck them out in public. I pray ya'll wear gloves. Multiple health code violations going on here. We left by 4:35.
