We haven’t been to Pizza Hut in years, no matter where we’ve lived, for a couple reasons. They always burned the pizza, and honestly they have the worst customer service. They make you feel like your an inconvenience (they don’t want to serve customers), instead they usually have the person working up front also making your pizza while delivery drivers are chaotically running around. We switched to Dominos and Papa J’s and hadn’t been back to a Pizza Hut for over 10 years.
All that said, we decided to give it a try again. We thought maybe we would t get burned pizza and terrible service anymore. Well, nothings changed!
Our pizza was burnt again (yes at this location) but our previous experiences were in Kansas City, Missouri and Cincinnati, Ohio. Figured maybe a location in San Angelo Texas might do the trick. Nope! Not at all. Pizza was sticky and burnt again.
Just like previously, service was awful. The lady looked stressed, telling me to “Go sit over there, it’s not done”. After a while of waiting at the window in hopes someone would walk by (no one did because she was busy making pizza…but looked at me several times (probably hoping I’d just leave). And when she did come over, she just said go sit down it’s not done.
When it was finally done, I asked for Parmesan and red pepper flakes to which she asked “did you pay for that or do you want to pay for them now?” I asked if they charge for the packets now (haven’t been there in years so…maybe that was a change? Well then she said, oh ok packets. I got 2 of each which I’m guessing they don’t charge for since I didn’t have to pay for them?
Finally, we get home and…we are missing the Apple pies…had to drive back over and pick them up. Nope, nope, nope…nothing has changed! Won’t be back, we will continue with the 2 that want customers…waiting for Pizza Hut to file bankruptcy, I’m sure it’s just a...
Read moreStart off with Pizza Hut is my go to for ordering pizza unless I know a small chain. I've ordered from this location 6-10 times in the past 4 months. Today I ordered online like always. I entered the card info right. They called an hour later to say it was declined, 10-15 minutes before it was suppose to be here. They had the number right it was going through. I said ok I'll pay cash since I have it. The girl said my total and hung immediately before I could respond. I called my bank and my bank told me they were entering the expiration date wrong every time for both cards. The driver should up and I said you have change for $100? He said no they didn't tell you? I said about what? The $100? I paid the last two times with a $100. He said oh well I was told we can't do that. I said I'm sorry I wasted your time then and he glared at me I gave him a five for his time and the food back.
My point is the person working at the phones needs to learn how to listen, enter card info, and speak to customers...

I’m a simple guy. I judge a pizza by one thing and one thing only—the pizza stretch. What’s the pizza stretch, you ask? It’s the true test of pizza greatness: from the moment I take that first bite, how far does the cheese stretch as I pull my arm away? A proper pizza should have that glorious, melty, gooey elasticity that makes you feel like you’re in an ad for the world’s best pizzeria.
But this? This pizza didn’t stretch—it snapped. It was drier than West Texas in July. The cheese had the consistency of week-old Play-Doh, and the sauce? Either it was applied with a single, tragic brushstroke or completely forgot to show up.
I’ve had some amazing pizza from Pizza Hut before, so I know they can deliver greatness. But this time? This was the pizza equivalent of heartbreak. Fix it, Pizza Hut. I believe in you, but...
