Andrea's Barbacoa & Tacos — Restaurant in San Antonio

Hi my neighbor and I we've been coming to Andres barbacoa tacos but the other day we came out and we didn't want the the pound we wanted six tacos well when we looked in our bag it was dripping with oil and too much grease on our tacos that we just couldn't finish them it was just too nasty like that please take time to drain the oil out of barbacoa because it will be awful when we have to eat it other than that the food has been great when we get a pound or when I get tortillas or anything else that I get thank you Andres just a word of advice from a business owner that I used to be I'm retired but I love this food God bless and...

First time trying - last time going. Upon getting the food, the tortillas were cold, almost fridge like temperature, and folded up. Grease all over them. Then I pull the cup of barbacoa out of the bag, full of grease and I’m pretty sure I ordered “lean” but between the grease puddle and fatty pieces, not sure where the lean was. Yes I get where barbacoa comes from and I understand it’s gonna have some grease but not an entire puddle sitting on top of the food… not mush fat pieces either.

Will not return and I hate I just lost $25...

Tried this place because of the 4.5 star reviews. Extremely disappointed. As others have already said, the tamales and tacos were super dry. The tortillas felt like they were just taken out of a pack of Mission tortillas from the grocery store and were maybe microwaved or grilled for like 10 seconds. Their salsa is very runny, basically flavored water. Everything was very bland tasting, dry, and the contents were crumbling. Wish I could get my $40 back.
