Brevity Coffee Co. — Restaurant in San Antonio

I recently tried this coffee shop and was so poorly dissatisfied. I don't even know where to start. There's no seating inside and feels less like a coffee shop and more like an unfinished office space. Then when we ordered the person taking our order knew nothing about their own menu. When our order was up I had to verify that my coffee was caffeine free (I have an intolerance to it so it's important to ensure it's decaf). The batista who literally just made our drinks had to check the order screen to know if it was in fact decaf which doesn't install any sense of security in their answer. It wasn't busy so I'm less understanding than I would normally be. (My drink was not decaf,go figure). The final nail in the coffin was that the coffee was terrible, burnt espresso shots and WAY too much syrup and the food tasted like microwavable breakfast items you could get at the grocery store.

Unfortunately I do not recommend this...

Edit: unfortunately their price point and quality have not held up after two years. A large at Starbucks is now the price of a medium here, and unfortunately the taste is not worth the extra cost. Just got a vanilla lavender matcha latte frozen, and it tastes like slightly vanilla milk. At least at the other one I can add extra matcha to be sure my money isn’t wasted.

I’m really really disappointed that the 5 star quality took a back seat to location growth.

When I mapped my way to work, I had five minutes to spare for coffee. Deviating from my route, ordering and getting back on the road took MAYBE three minutes total, yet I managed to get to work with eight minutes to spare.

Brevity is consistently so quick, delicious, with great service, and a great price point. Dare I say, it’s everything Starbucks...

I always have a great visit when I stop by. My order is always delicious and whatever questions I had about the menu, they were answered with recommendations. My coffee is always so good, the drive through is quick and efficient, I love that they have reward punch hole card. I noticed two previous reviews that weren’t so great 1. They wanted their mocha sweeter or something, just ask questions. My mocha is made with syrup, so I can get it less/more seeet, just ask for recommendations to get exactly what you want. Someone said it’s not a relaxing place to sit and study, no sofas etc lol! yeah it’s not a library. Some coffee shops have the quiet music and study vibe, this is not one of those and that’s perfectly fine. Energetic staff with energetic music and I like that just fine. All in all, I...
