AVOID THIS LOCATION
Normally I don’t write negative reviews, but I honestly can’t believe how ugly they treat customers here. On my way to the drive thru, I noticed a few employees going in and out of the store, which was no biggie. I was the only car when I pulled up, which was great because I was in hopes that the wait wouldn’t take too long. However, I ended up waiting in front of the drive thru window for 15 to 20 minutes before receiving my food. As I was waiting, I had my window down because the woman taking the drive-thru orders had the window open and I didn’t want to be rude in case she was ready to hand over my food. With my window open, I was able to hear both the lady taking the next 2-3 orders from the cars behind me along with the customers through her headset/speaker. Customers were asking questions that weren’t difficult to answer, yet the lady just sighed, looked extremely annoyed, and replied back with a sassy attitude that was uncalled for each and every time. I guess the lady didn’t realize she left her window open, so she immediately closed her window upon noticing that I was waiting with my window down. Once I received my food, I drove around to the front of the store and checked that my order was correct. Everything was right, except for the missing marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks I ordered. Yes I know it’s just sauce, but I specifically came to Burger King because a family member really wanted Mozzarella sticks. I had parked by the front of the store and noticed that the dine in area was closed to the public. At that point, I also noticed a considerably long line had formed at the drive thru. I called the store a few times, and no one bothered to answer. That’s when I decided to politely knock on the door with the receipt and bag of food in my hand. The lady that was taking orders noticed me and basically told me no and to go to the drive-thru line without even attempting to hear what I had to say. So there I go waiting another 5-10 minutes in the drive thru until I was able to position myself by the right-side of the car that was at the drive thru window. I knew not to get off and walk over to the window because of the fact that there was a person already there waiting for their food. As the car drove off, I waived and got the attention of the lady and I mentioned that I needed some marinara sauce. She looked at me with confusion and as if I was beneath her. The manager on duty was right behind her so he came to the window and I politely said stated that I was just at the drive thru, and all I needed was my missing marinara sauce. Then that’s when the lady interrupted and said that I had to ‘GO BACK AROUND AND WAIT AT THE DRIVE THRU LINE’. I finally snapped, and told her that I just waited for 35/40 minutes! The manager then said that the doors are locked and they can’t come outside. That’s when I asked, ‘Then why were a couple of your employees coming in and out of the store when I pulled up to the drive thru???’. After no response, I just sighed and said… ‘look, all I want is some marinara sauce…. please’. The lady once again responded with, ‘GO BACK AND WAIT IN THE DRIVE-THRU LINE!’. I have a lot of patience… but this was something else. That lady doesn’t belong working in any type of customer service job if she’s going to act that...
Read moreBurger King just has really awesome tasting burgers hands down. And that's why it's so unfortunate to have a really great product that is dampened down by management. I have been meaning to write a review about this particular location for quite some time but I wanted to give it time. I don't like writing a review on a first visit. I have been here multiple times now. And management is pretty null in the ethics department. Not all the managers but so far I have dealt with one male manager and two female managers. An older lady and a younger lady. The older lady seems a bit bitter. Not very nice and typically works the a.m. shift. The younger one is okay but she will be crass if the situation deems. The male manager seemed to swoop in and save the younger female manager from a terrible encounter I had with her one day, like I stated, she had become quite crass and very unethical. The food is great when they make it right but it's unfortunate that this Burger King isn't thriving because it has the potential to do so. I've also heard from other members in my personal circle you have stated similar issues about this particular location. I don't understand how the main corporate office hasn't stepped in to improve the quality of management services. I don't blame management anymore than the main corporate office-- "workforshonaz", is the issue here. They seem to be the only ones who can be the solution since nothing has been done about this ongoing issue with the ethics of management from within at this particular location. Typically I will avoid going to this location at all but I tend to stop by because it is close to my job. I've really cut down my visits by 75% at least though. Shame. And I like Burger King. I just see so much room for improvement amongst management...
Read morethis is the SECOND TIME i place an order on the app and when i arrive they tell me to “cancel” my order because they don’t have it in stock. i guess they don’t know the BK app very well because there’s no such thing as cancelling, once you pay, that’s it. you have to contact corporate for a refund. they also refuse to just replace the items with something else. i came by on 10/1 and the (very nice) girl immediately told me to cancel my order when i pulled up, when i said i already paid, the big white lady (who was a huge jerk) yelled from far away that there was nothing she could do. when i asked if she could just replace the items, she said from far away “yeah if you find something that’s the same price” but wouldn’t help me at all figure out what items i could replace it with. i felt dumb, especially since i used my rewards for this food. for some low-income people, waiting days for corporate to refund money is too long. im not sure where they are getting this “cancel your order” phrase instead of just replacing the items. the time before that they told me they were completely out of beef and when i said to replace it with chicken they said they couldn’t because of inventory?? if y’all don’t have something in stock the protocol should be to REPLACE it. This is by far the worst BK in San Antonio. I understand that it’s hard to care when you’re getting paid 7.25 and i wish so much that The King would pay y’all more…but i didn’t do anything to y’all. I just want my nasty fast food…. Jack in the Box would never...
