Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

I am very disappointed at this location today; my family and I live close by, so we frequent this location often. I've never felt so undervalued as a customer. I visited the restaurant for lunch and arrived at 1:30 pm. There were 3 cars already waiting, one car was waiting to get their food and the other two were waiting for their order to be taken. After the two cars' orders were taken, the staff reentered the restaurant. A black GMC suv pulled up, and right a pickup truck pulled up with a trailer. I should have been the next order taken, but the staff person immediately went to the GNC, took their order, and went back into the restaurant. The second staff member came out and went straight to the pickup truck and didn't look my way.

At this point, I was getting ready to drive away; but I figured it would take me longer to find another place to and make it back to work from lunch on time. The time now is 1:40pm. When the staff returned, they brought out the GNC food, and the next staff member headed to another pickup truck that just pulled up. I yelled to the staff member and asked him why he didn't you take my order? I was here before both of the vehicles who just left with food; the staff member offered no resolution. I asked for the manager; he asked me to move up, and I said no, not until I spoke with a manager. He left and went back into the restaurant. After a couple of minutes, he returned and told me the managers were unavailable at the moment, which further made me upset. A moment later, the manager came walking out and approached my truck.

The manager was very apologetic and expressed empathy for the situation, which I appreciate. She offered me a 20% discount off my order, which not worth the inconvenience and lack of customer service her staff exhibited. Now I'm worried about ordering food because I complained, she assured me that I didn't have to worry about that, because she was going to put the order together. I agreed to her resolution. After receiving my food, she offered me a discount for my next visit, but I declined. I'm not sure if I will return to this location or...

Went there today for lunch. My wife has cancer treatments in the area every week. We stop there afterwards every time. Has always been friendly staff and good food. Today was a horrible experience. The manager( I am not sure because the gentleman would not give me his name or title). was having a problem with an employee and handled himself in a not very professional manner. He escorted the employee outside in a very rude manner. The gentleman came back inside and was bragging to his employees about what went on like a big shot and disrupting everyone's lunch. The employee re entered the restaurant and the manager was once again very loud and causing a seen and shoved the employee. The police were called and they escorted employee out. Manager once again loudly talking to customers and employees about what was going on. When me and my wife were leaving I approached manager and let him know I thought he handled the situation totally wrong and ruined everyone's lunch. He disagreed very rudely and took no responsibility for his actions. Asked him his title with company and he would not say what it was. I told him we would not be coming back ever again and his response was he didn't care! Then we exited building and waited to speak with officer to let them know what happened. Once he realized we were going to speak with officers and let them know what really happend he came out and started to give my wife a hard time and running his mouth to her. Very disappointed in Bush's chicken for employing such and individual. So everyone please do not go to this location and spend your money with a business that would employee such an individual and could care less if...

Just ordered from here ten minutes ago.I haven’t had Bush’s in years, let alone the Liver Combo meal. My food was hot and fresh, which is always a plus. The batter for the liver was crispy. The liver was cooked well, no dryness whatsoever. The liver all where nice sized pieces, that’s was the first thing I noticed. Now I know there’s a lot of people who never had liver and some who have. I personally like liver and that’s why I wanted to try it. Along with the combo comes a side, in which I opted for Pepper Poppers, which I can say, were way better than I expected. I mean, a nice choice of pepper, the thickness of it, the flavor of it. The heat, spice wise, was on point spicy but not in the way your grabbing for your drink every 5 seconds. Now mix that with creamy flavorful cheese sauce, wrapped in a near perfect batter, then deep fried!? Oh yeah baby! Only wish they threw in more, unfortunately it only comes with two😔. The country style gravy that come with the combo is creamy, warm, and well seasoned, so no complaints there. The roll were also just as welcoming as always. Warm, fluffy, soft, with a little sweetness to them. And to top it all of I had large coke. So yeah, there you have it. Thumbs up...
