I liked their set up: obstacle course, basketball, rock climbing etc, but it seems like only teens work there and they have no care for customer service. Even the manager looked like a teenager and seemed to have no major presence. It seemed like all the employees were annoyed to be there. They were on their cellphones and conversing with another. It is good to be friends with your coworkers but that should not come first to the customer experience. This is a business not social hour for employees. My niece and nephew were on the obstacle course. An obstacle course is an amazing opportunity to build a child's self confidence and tenacity when dealing with challenging situations. The employees seemed annoyed to have to explain how to hook and unhook the straps and locks. They seemed frustrated when trying to explain how to manuever throughout the course. The employee was yelling across the facility giving directions ocasionally, but it is loud in there I couldn't even hear what the employee was saying. My Nephew almost made it through the whole course but had no guidance in the most difficult part. I feel he could have made it through if the employee had cared enough to give him some tips in friendly manner instead of sighing, looking annoyed, and yelling like a crazy angry person. Please do better in training employees on customer service or think about how the employees can coach students in a positive manner to accomplish difficult things. I think anyone would appreciate that type of grace when overcoming an obstacle and it would be a great lesson for the employees and our future generations. I would love to go back one day and see how this facility had progressed in this aspect. It definitely could be something that makes this place stand out from others if...
Read moreDid my son's birthday here. Never again. When they called last week they told me nothing but lies as if turns out. Can we order other food items once there? Yes. You can order from our menu once arrived if you need anything else. What happened? No, they only have pizza and if you want to order anymore there is no saying that it will arrive while your party is going on. Sodas are only $2 additionally. No, they were $3.50 each. Pizzas were late. Son's birthday was scheduled 3 to 5. Pizzas supposed to arrive at 4 pm. Did not arrive until almost 430. We decided to do cake and presents and ended up serving cake before Pizzas even got there. Once it got close to 5 pm, even though we had just gotten our Pizzas, the host gave me my bill. Told me that she would give a discounts on all Pizzas because of wait time. Took off 1 pizza and then said that we needed to go. If we stayed 15 minutes after 5 that we would be charged an additional $100 for staying in party section. No other parties coming in. I could see if we were taking up someone's space but we weren't. In the end, we got a hefty discount but it was ridiculous. Originally were due to pay $250 plus tax for this party with a host. Table clothes (white paper taped) balloon bouquet (which they kept) a host that was doing 3 other jobs and delays on everything. Had to wait in line that kept us from our party time, people sitting at our reserved tables and trash in our party area. Never again. Thankfully we got an additional discount on the expenses but it still wasn't worth it. I would've paid whatever they asked if things would have been as they said but it was obviously a lie to get another party in. Don't go here...
Read moreAll i can say is one word. Incredible. The service here tonight was some of the best service i had ever recieved. I was near the “foam pit” and a child was hurt, Val ( Valentine) was there to help the hurt child and return him to saftey. As i was jumping, i noticed him always staying alert and watching out for anything suspicious or possible injuries. Even if nothings wrong, he still checked up on random customers asking if everything is how they like. Next is Andres. Hes like a night in shining armor. He was working the rock wall area and was doing great. With such a big line of kids waiting, he was so efficient with getting shoes on kids, putting on harnesses, hooking kids on, and if any were hurt or needed help, he was right there. And finally was Francesca, the sweetest woman ever. She was so kind to all of the children that needed assistance and to me myself. When she saw me stitting down all alone, she offered to come sit with me to make sure i wasnt alone. She kept me company and had an aura that i will never forget. When kids would get chalk over the carpets, she would be right there ready to vacuum so that the area may be nice and tidy. She was the most beautiful woman there and has awesome music taste. I will miss her. In conclusion, this has been the best experience i ever had at altitude and will never forget it. I will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends to better profit the special 3 team/staff members that made this trip so memorable. Also i cant forget Marcus and Tori who both offered me pizza. Thank you Altitude for giving me this experience of...
