Bush's Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

6/26/2021: I ordered a 10 piece family meal which comes with two sides and a gallon of tea. The first mistake was the girl who took my order didn't ask if I wanted to sweet, unsweet, or half/half tea. I tried to get her attention, but after she went inside, she didn't follow up until she returned with the order. The second issue was, after getting home I noticed I was missing one of the two family sides I ordered which was a family box of fries. I have picked up at fast food where they forget a small item from time to time; but we're not talking about small single items with Bushes. you are supposed to have 3 boxes. A box of chicken, and 2 other boxes in a bag for sides. How this person failed to put 3 boxes in a bag is beyond me. I called the manager, Cynthia, to express my concern and Cynthia advised me say Cynthia said to give her name and get a 10% discount on my next order. So, if you visit this location, give Cynthia's name so you can get a 10% discount. I doubt it happens, but go for it. My mistake is expecting people to...

I haven't been to a Bush's Chicken in a long time and I couldn't remember why, so I decided to try it again tonight.... Now I remember why I stopped going, It's because their prices are so ridiculously overinflated. I didn't see any prices posted on the menu board and when I asked for an 8 piece chicken with 2 sides, I was shocked when she said my total was $38.00! That is completely ridiculous! And when I asked for a senior discount, she said they only discount single meals and family meals are not discounted. Unbelievable!🙄 Plus, there's a 3% upcharge if you pay by credit card. Utterly ridiculous!😡 I can't believe people go out of their way to eat there. I think what they charge is highway robbery. I will never go back to Bush's Chicken again.🐔🍗 Price gouging should be against the law. I should've gone across the street to Popeyes.

I feel so disappointed and let down. I always try to give you guys the benefit of a doubt but it just seems like every visit keeps getting worse. It started with long waits and getting passed up to attend to cars that came in after me. Then it went to giving dry/the wrong pieces of chicken. Now, I stop on my way home from work to get a 2 pc meal and get all the way home to find out that I paid almost $12 for a drink and a box full of rolls. So I call and "oh yeah, I remember that box going out. Well you can drive (all the way) back and we can replace your meal now or we can log it for a later date. No I'm sorry. No let me replace your meal today and log an extra one to make up for your time and gas. Do better Bush's on Potranco!
