Went here the other night with my wife. My wife happens to kind of be very selective as she is a vegetarian. And she's kept the same items in their diet which makes it kind of a hassle for us to go out and eat. But every now and then it's fun for us to go out together. That being said one of her items is spaghetti with the marinara on the side and her salad. Now I had to meet her there and during that wait she orders spaghetti. Then she calls me back saying they don't have any spaghetti. How the heck do you not have spaghetti if you serve Italian food!?!? So I said look for someplace else and she said I'll just have the fettuccine. I said fine I'm sure they have marinara she goes no they just have the fettuccine alfredo sauce. I get there my wife is ordered cheese stick as a side order. The marinara sauce which they had to serve with the sides was ice cold. I mean pulled out of the refrigerator ice cold. I ordered two slices of pizza which seem to take forever just to make two slices of pizza. Her food came out the salad look nice and she says it was good but the size portion of her fettuccine noodles was in the same type of bowl her salad was served in and it's basically a little kid cereal bowl. She was even finished with her meal before my two slices of pizza came out. We asked if and of course we would probably pay for it if we can just get a little bit more noodles. They're closing the kitchen they say. Well then we ask for some garlic bread took longer to cook garlic bread than it would have been to make some noodles. Pizza slices were good I won't argue they got some decent Pizza. Their service is horrible. Looks like you got to make sure you catch him on a lucky day just to have spaghetti. I'm not concerned what the reason is if you have it on your menu it should be available. I was not disappointed like I said with the food just heed my warning just because it's on the menu doesn't mean they have it. I like consistency. They...
Read moreI had read reviews and was so looking forward to having lunch there. Unfortunately, my expectations were squashed by the poor quality of the food I received. The two positive things I must mention were the service and the atmosphere. The server was very polite and helpful. For her outstanding customer service, I made certain to tip her very well. The atmosphere was enhanced by the popular 70s music that played. As far as the food goes, I'm sure it's good when it's made fresh. It probably would have been wiser for me to order an entire pizza b/c they would have had to make it while I waited. However, I dined in for lunch and ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza and a side salad as well as an Italian sub to go. The pizza was definitely leftover from the day before and was reheated to the point that it was burnt to a crisp. The crust was black and hard. The toppings were dry and stiff. No gooey cheese or chewy crust which is what I expect w/ New York style pizza. The same thing was wrong w/ the Italian sub. The bread gets a lot of good comments in the reviews, but my bread was hard and dry and burnt black on the bottom and it broke into pieces when I tried to bite it. Although the bread was burnt from over-reheating in an oven, the bread was cold when I got the sandwich, none of the cheese slices melted on it, and the meat was still cold. I was disappointed to say the least. For the record, I tried my to-go sub right after the server brought it to me, so it's not like hours lapsed before I tasted it. It was actually given to me burnt and cold. I spent almost $30 for food that was inedible. The worst part wasn't the expense but it was my highly anticipated experience of good chewy pizza and warm, fresh bread that turned out to be nothing I expected. That which I looked forward to the most--bread and pizza crust were the worst parts and ruined the meal. Lastly, they only have Pepsi products and I prefer Coke but that's just a...
Read moreI decided to go to this restaurant since it was the only pizza restaurant that offered single slices of pizza and it also offered a 10% discount for online orders. I didn't even see any instructions on how I can applied the discount so I just assumed it was automatically going to be applied at checkout, which it did not. So I decided to do one slice instead of three because of the false advertisement. And I'm so glad I just bought the one slice because it was badly charred and super bland! My coworker also bought pizza from this restaurant and we agreed that we could taste the burnt dough more than the other ingredients of the pizza such as the pepperoni and tomato sauce. Anyway, I also wanted to comment that it took forever to receive my single sliced of pizza, I had to wait about 20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time and the restaurant smelled funky, which is a huge red flag for me, it smelled like a dirty wet mop. I know that is a weird description but that's all I can think of describing the smell of the place. I do want to mention that a female employee was very friendly and attentive, but that's the only positive comment i can give about this location. So, my coworker and myself will definitely not recommend this pizza restaurant to anyone. There's way better pizza elsewhere.
Also, I saw a comment the owner posted on a negative review of a customer stating that the employees accidentally burnt the customer's pizza because the cooks were inexperienced with a new "brickstone oven" however that comment was 2 months ago. That's inexcusable for them to have this problem still, they should really instructed their cooks properly how to use this oven before they...
