I recently had the pleasure of visiting this delightful gelato shop in San Antonio off of TPC, and I must say, it’s a fantastic addition to our local scene. The first thing that caught my attention was their ever-changing selection of weekly flavors. It’s like a new adventure for your taste buds every time you visit. The quality of their gelato is top-notch; you can tell they use the finest ingredients. The shop itself is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating to enjoy your sweet treat. What sets it apart is the thoughtfulness put into creating a family-friendly environment. The play area with toys for kids is a brilliant touch. It makes it a great place for families to relax and enjoy their gelato while the little ones have a blast. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you navigate the delightful array of flavors. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic like chocolate or feeling adventurous with a unique flavor, this gelato shop has you covered. It’s a must-visit for anyone in the San Antonio area, and I can’t wait to see what delicious surprises they’ll have in store next week!

Stopped by for a late dessert on a Friday night. I almost left when I saw they were closing in 30 minutes. However, walked in and was immediately greeted by Kirsten. I acknowledged it was near closing, but she said take your time as she had plenty of closing duties to do. Her customer service was amazing. She even took the time to let us try a few samples, make some recommendations, and explained the constantly rotating flavors. They had about 12 flavors of gelato and sorbet, baked goods, coffee, cold drinks, and small bites. There's even a freezer or prepackaged gelato to go. Ordered a few 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup and a brownie as she explained everything is made fresh daily. Ice cream and the brownie were definitely fresh and went well together. The store was a cozy place to relax and enjoy your desserts. It was nice but left within 15 minutes so she could close on time. Looking forward to coming back for some different flavors. Keep up with the great gelato and customer service.

First visit and absolutely loved it! The server was extremely nice and knowledgeable about the flavors they offered at the time. They had some of the most unique and area inspired flavors I've seen around San Antonio. I especially liked the lotus cookie (aka biscoff), blue berry cookie, mango w/ spicy cranberry, and key lime pie. I got a croissant stuffed with lotus cookie and let me tell you!...absolutely delicious! A hot and buttery croissant with cold, smooth gelato was an absolute treat! They have half pint jars and full pints to take out. I got strawberry cheesecake, lotus cookie, lavender lemonade, and arrow con leche. They also have amazing espresso!

Dear Casa Morgana Owners,

I’m not usually a person to leave reviews on the places I visit, whoever this is the only time I will.

A couple days ago I walked in immediately greeted by Kirsten, followed by a very professional in depth explanation and introduction to the place, flavors, and even history about the establishment. After a nice conversation I sampled some flavors and made my decision on probably the simplest flavors but yet insanely delicious (chocolate and Italian vanilla). I’ve been to Italy and tried multiple gelato places, THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST GELATO I’VE EVER TRIED. Was I probably persuaded by Kirsten’s input and recommendations?.. maybe, but I mean this one hundred percent.

Once my Kids were tired of playing in the kid toy area (Which is perfect btw) We left with the biggest smile on our faces and a nice goodbye from Kirsten.

To sum this review up (because I might run out of characters) -The gelato, the pastries and everything they sell AMAZING, quality AMAZING, flavor AMAZING. -The place was very clean and very peaceful. the ambiance was amazing and good music playing.

Now the costumer service, Owners, please know you have a very professional well spoken, respectful, caring and INSANELY good at sales (my budget was 20 I spent well above that) young lady as an employee, keep her she’s a great one. After talking to her I discovered she’s 18! and in school, never in my life have I met an 18 year old with the attitude and professionalism she had. she was very kind to my kids to the point where they still ask me to go back and visit her. Overall amazing experience with her. If there’s any way you can congratulate and even reward her for the amazing performance please do she totally deserves it.

This place is a MUST when we come back to visit San Antonio. If I could give it 10...

The owners have stolen 100% of employee tips which is illegal in Texas, and is a federal law. Since the owners cannot do a quick google search or read up on texas labor laws, they are in reviews saying “We pay them more than food service hourly wage” which is about $2 for servers, (because they make all their money in tips!) This is not a “personal manner” everyone that eats here should know the activity going on. Apparently we can’t leave reviews if we have eaten here and happen to know an employee ! Stop trying to hide this activity. Taking advantage of and stealing from employees is not cool.

Since you bash your employees publicly for speaking up….this is what the labor law reads. From TEXAS GOV. website Section 203(m) (2) (B) of the FLSA makes it clear that owners and managers cannot keep employee tips, under any circumstances. That would include tips left by customers in tip jars, which the DOL and the courts would consider employee tips under the rationale that customers who leave tips in tip jars do so with the belief that the tips will end up in the hands of the staff who served them, not the owner or manager of the restaurant. The only time that an owner or manager would be permitted to keep a tip would be if the evidence showed that a customer meant the tip for the personal benefit of the...
