Do. Not. Order (DELIVERY) from this location.
I'm giving a detailed account because I don't normally give a rating this poor, so go with me on this if you so choose.
Ordered for delivery - apparently this PJs location is using Door Dash for delivery because they "don't have enough drivers to cover the deliveries" which is perfectly fine ... placed my order at 7:15. The order screen gave me a roughly 9:00 delivery. No problem. It's a Saturday night.
DD texted me at 9:25 to say PJs was still working on my order. By 9:45, I'm calling the store to get an update, and the guy I spoke with explained the delivery issue (they're using DD) and said my order was sitting there waiting to be picked up by DD. As I ask about just canceling the order because I don't know how long my order has actually been sitting there, I get put on hold. I call back and try to cancel the order again, and a lady tells me my order is out for delivery and will be "hot and fresh".
There's some miscommunication going on somewhere. ALL OF THIS TO SAY ... the website needs to include a statement about possible delayed delivery times, though I understand why they wouldn't (it would deter would-be customers from placing orders).
Unless I see ratings on the upswing in the future, I don't intend to order...

Called me on my way to swap it for a Med or large and would be another 15-20 minutes. 40 min later no pizza. Don't come here on a Saturday or busy football night. They can't handle it. The kitchen sounds like pure chaos.
Update: told me it would be 5 more minutes 40 min after my order. 10 min later a different girl told me she had no way of knowing when of where my pizza was and seemed upset that I even asked. I got the manager and she said she'd look and then told me they'd remake my order an hour after my initial online order. They politely refunded my money and apologized for the inconvenience. They are trying hard but seem to be outnumbered. If I owned this Franchise I'd shut down for mandatory retraining before you loose all your customers. I kept thinking maybe I was on undercover boss or bar rescue it was crazy. They had lost pizzas piling up under the main counter not on the floor but almost. I'm off to 46th st pizza....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Papa Johns to get a pizza to watch the game on tv. When I went to the restaurant an employee came to me and said that I had to order from outside the store or online. Well, I did not have a phone with me nor I have a computer. I have a landline and I was not at my house. I kindly ask the girl who told me to go outside and order to let me see the menu and she did not me look at the menu. She did not even offer to do the order for me outside the store where there was a table set up for that purpose. I even had a face mask and gloves and still did not let me look at the menu or order at the store. Since I did not have a smartphone I could not get a pizza. That's not right. At the same time the girl was telling me to go outside, There was a delivery person at the counter talking to the employees without a mask. I went home without a pizza. Not cool.
