I frequent this store often the service is good for the most part. I used to manage a Church's Chicken. And the management at this stor is cutting corners. Not ensuring that the frying oil is changed twice daily. Along with the correct amount of fry powder. Make sure the thermostat inside the fryer is clean and free of debris. This is accomplished by cleaning the fryers nightly ( not just wiped down) Boil outs of all the fryers . A. This means to drop the oil and fill the fryer with water and boil all of the old grease deposits. THIS SHOULD BE DONE WEEKLY The chicken I've been purchase has: A. Darkened outer crust ( not the golden color of church's franchise product line) B. The Chicken has a burned taste and bitter after taste. ( this is produced by a number of factors : unfiltered oil, too much fry powder, uncleaned oil and residue collects around the thermostat. The thermostat cannot properly read the temperature of the oil, so it cooks at an high temperature and a cuases the product to overcook . DO NOT NOT REHEAT COOKED CHICKEN IN THE FRYER TO CUT COST. DOING THIS CAN SERIOUSLY SICKEN A CUSTOMER. temperature with chicken is very important SAMONELLA KILLS! THIS STORE NEEDS MANAGERIAL OVERSIGHT. THIS STORE HAVE GOOD VOLUME THE LOCATION IS PRIME. THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT WILL CUASE LOSS ACROSS THE BOARD STOP...
Read moreThis is a mixed review because this location normally is the absolute best. The manager is so friendly and funny, always playfully joking and making the drive thru experience great. Well tonight it was the worst I’ve ever had and they closed shortly after I finally got home so I couldn’t go back. I got two chicken sandwiches and mashed potatoes, with sweet tea. The only thing good was the mashed potatoes. The sandwiches were somehow flat including the chicken, were definitely not fresh and tasted off. The tea was soured. Now I realize going to any place within the hour they close is somewhat risky with getting fresh food, I normally avoid doing it for this reason. But tonight I was wrong in assuming it...
Read moreAbsolute favorite Church's Chicken to go to and they always have the best chicken though sometimes they're low on spicy chicken and the waiting time is around 15 min, but when you actually get them they are to die for. Biscuits could use more honey-butter, aren't as slathered as they could be. Still my favorite to go to no matter what. An added factor being that they're so friendly and joke a lot with my mom that I always love bringing her there for the fun factor.
If you like spicy fried chicken and (mostly, I've had some purely glazed ones) mildly glazed biscuits then this is the best place to go to. Even when they don't exactly have spicy chicken, the regular chicken...
