Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

I send my husband and my baby sister to go. Pick up a family meal, 16 piece mixed? And the order was to get French fries with the family meal instead of besides, so the person who took my order should have put 2 large fries for the sides and sell my husband one box of family fries. To make it a complete order instead. He charges my husband the full meal. And gives us a large law mashed taters. And bombers which is not what I ordered and then charges him. 2 extra large fries, which is not what I ordered. The order was supposed to be just chicken and fries. I ordered the same 16 piece family meal deal. Every time I order from churches and I always order just chicken and fries and when I do that, they give me 2 large fries and one box fries with my chicken. Instead of the sides that come with the meal that did not happen here, so I was charged the full meal. And charged double for the fries. Which totaled out 6059? My bill would have been a lot smaller on top of the chicken was not cooked appropriately. Half of it was raw and they had my husband wait 15. Whole minutes for raw chicken. An order that wasn't complete correctly. I was not satisfied and customer service. Sucked I'm very disappointed of the simple fact that restaurants nowadays they're workers. Slack a lot when it comes to rules. Regulations and how you're supposed to prep. And serve the food if you are gonna work in a food industry. Establishment, I would suggest that you train all your workers. Over again, so everybody could be on the same page. And make sure that you're not serving raw food and you're giving the customers exactly what they order. Until then, I would not recommend this store to anybody. Thank you...

As of the 5th, I will no longer be coming back to this location. They always missing items that I have requested and as a result I would ALWAYS have to turn back around. The manager would not never give me my right receipt as she be hesitating to give it to me. I wants my damn receipt so that she does not pocket my change. If you needs to do that then being a manager is not for you. Also, I only seen one person who had on a pair of gloves and a cap, the manager nor this other black man who wores glasses did not have on no disposable gloves nor a hair net. And that brotha in their look rough just by seeing his hair not comb and hella dry. That's unprofessional like. I've been to better church's than this. I wish the church's on rigsby was still up and running. They never messed up my order and always gave me my receipt. Perhaps they needs to close down this location as well. At least the s. New Braunfels and the Broadway location would still get my services. The hell with...

I’ve gone to this location the last 3 days in a row, not sure what change has been made with staff or product but everything is amazing now!! 👍 I hadn’t been in a year and a half or so, but I found out the company has gone to their original crunchy recipe and boy could I tell!! The chicken reminds me of how CHURCHS used to be in the 80s/90s…biscuits have been nice and soft and fresh along with the chicken. The second day there was an issue but I went back and had my order remade with fresh okra,chicken, jalapeños!! David F and crew at this location have turned the place around and are serving great food/product well worth the money!!
