Trying this spot out and not impressed. Chorizo n egg taco lacked flavor(do not waste your time), country n egg a la mexicana was good and the carne guisada was good too. Heard their enchiladas were good but I had breakfast(I know I'd like them cuz I think they used American Cheese) . Chips n salsa were good but they only had lil too go cups and ran out of this reddish one they have that preferred over their roasted one 🤦‍♂️ 2.5 Tacos out of 5.

A very nice little cafe that seems to get good business. The food (Lunch Special) was, tasty, well priced, service was fast, and the environment was very pleasent and homey. The proprietor and his family were very kind and accommodating, having owned their restaurant here for about 20 years it would seem. Definitely a place to check out for a nice meal for those who enjoy Mexican food👍🏻

Best Mexican Resturant on Zarzamora - Carne Guisada w/ Chz is so good you will keep coming back for more - They have breakfast and lunch specials - service is friendly and quick - keep in mind they are closed Mondays!!

Today was my first time going to this restaurant. I read most of the reviews. So I thought I was making a good decision. Boy was I wrong!! To start off the carne guidada was cold as hell. The country sausage and egg had a red gravy to it. I have never known for this specific taco to have gravy. So I sent to back I got a chorizo and egg. omg that was worse. The chorizo was so red in color. I don’t why!! It also has zero taste to it!! The tortillas were cold! The only thing i was a barbacoba taco. Because I was hungry. one of waitress could smile a little more and wait for people (customer ) to stop talking about their order , instead of thinking were done after the fact I said "but if" and so on she walk away , while I'm taking 2 her back . nice job lady 🙄. but one good thing I can say , tortillas r GUUuuddd !!!! 😋 and the potato w/egg was soft and no soggy egg yaahh !!!! 😊 Note: my plate is on the left and my hubby is on the rite.... Watch out this not a "good vibes only" area. All vibes are welcome. The cooks,owner and family are kind .The waitress don't smile but she never has. That's her personality and I love it because she is real and true to who she is.She serves you well, so her service speaks for itself. I've been going there for 38 years when it was then Norma's.
