La Bandera Molino — Restaurant in San Antonio

Bad experience. Food poisoning with the MENUDO & CHICHARRONES. I went for takeout on a Sat morning. Bought Barbacoa, Chicharrones & Menudo. Had bought Chicharrones the prev week and it tasted off. Like othr ingredients had bn added and lots of VINEGAR. The following day I ate my leftovers from fridge and the tomato tasted sour like it was already spoiled. I threw the remaindr away. Then I went again on Sat & bought all meat Barbacoa, Menudo & Chicharrones. My husb had some Menudo & rt away said it tasted funny. I tasted it and the sauce had a weird taste like VINEGAR & the sauce was very red. I also had some Chicharrones guisados & the sauce didn't taste right either. A diffrnt flavor with alot of VINEGAR. I threw the sauce away and we ate the rest of the Menudo & i ate some Chicharrones guisados. We never tasted the Barbacoa. Well that same day SAT, I WAS BURPING THIS FOOD ALL DAY LONG. I MEAN FROM 10AM - 12AM MIDNIGHT. SAT EVENING I STARTED GETTING STOM CRAMPS THEN SOME DIARRHEA. MY POOR HUSB WAS SO SICK TOO ALL DAY SUNDAY. HE WASN ABLE TO EAT ANYTHING. HE SPENT THE WHOLE DAY IN THE REST ROOM WITH DIARRHEA. HERE WE ARE MONDAY & HES STILL SICK TRYING TO RECOVER. FROM THIS FOOD POISONING. VERY LOOSE STOOLS. NEVER HAVE WE HAD FOOD POISONING IN OUR LIVES, NEVER & I EAT ANYTHING & EVERYTHING AND NEVER GOTTEN SICK LIKE THIS. Our belief is this restaurant doesn't throw any spoiled food away and tries to preserve it by adding VINEGAR TO IT to make more sales. THEY MUST KNOW GOOD & WELL ITS EXPIRED OR ABOUT TO EXPIRE & STILL SELL IT. THAT NEEDS TO "STOP". NEVER AGAIN AT THIS PLACE. YES THE FOOD MIGHT LOOK GOOD AND DELICIOUS. BUT BEWARE WHEN YOU EAT IT. WATCH OUT FOR HOW IT SMELLS & TASTES WHEN FIRST EATING IT. THEY GET A ZERO FOR THE FOOD POISONING !!! PPL CAN DIE...

Mom visited w/e from out of town wanted to go back since she had enjoyed first visit, well this time they were so unorganized that entire front kitchen ,clerks,mgmt...basically entire staff that was working on 07/10/16 @10:15am...SUNDAY was cursing ,yelling ,basically no respect for any one waiting to order ,a female employee that was ringing up transaction for a customer walks away doing all the above n arguing with a male employee....they couldn't locate my order we had placed to go while we had previously sat to eat food ordered to eat i was ? whether i had pd .for my order i believe establishment lacks proper management /owner supervision ..and for having a tap on $45.58...of a tacos n sodas n 2 go orde,r one would think they would show much more customer appreciation, but none what so ever...this visit show no proper business enthics on this day , also date visited stated above 0710/16 register receipt shows date of 06_28/16 tue...8:31am.......SUCH A DISASTER OF A LOCAL BUSINESS......U GUYS TOTALLY LACK HOSPITALITY....AND ARE IN NEED OF NEW TRAINING...☹ WILL...

Actually used to go here all the time no matter the cost for was delicious but I bought some tamales with my order and found glass my 9yr old daughter had glass in her tamale most people would be very upset but I liked this place, walked in calmly and asked to speak to a manager and tell them I found glass in your food the man took the tamales and began to check by squeezing the tamales between his fingers and somebody stated we don't have glass here that's a lie then the lady stated that I just wanted my money back I spent about 40 bucks now I did want to get something back for the tamales or just a couple of tacos in exchange but the went off on me so I explained that the glass looked like a broken light bulb after I crunched on it, and spit it out, again I tried to go in there but was automatically called a liar and I was just trying to warm them, hey there is glass in your food somebody messed up, but no there anger blinded them. As for getting my money back. Didn't need it just wanted to help. I will...
