I began going to Dutch Bros in Feb. 2022. I've never been a big fan of that other place's coffee. (Love their merchandise, not the brew.) So, the 1st one I tried at DB was the Americano. Plain, black & piping hot. (Not McD's lawsuit hot. 😆) It was really good, nice bold flavor. Really nice. So, my next was a salted caramel breve. I wanted to see if I could still taste the coffee, or was it in fact like that other place where all you taste are the highly caloric flavors & creamers. In fact, I could still, happily, taste the bold coffee, with the perfect mix of flavorings.
I always get a medium. It's perfect.
Now, the staff: especially at the one on Rittiman in San Antonio - they are magnificent! Each & everyone of them is friendly, funny, helpful, (great drink suggestions, ask one of the baristas what to have, trust they will not do you wrong!), Excellent baristas, and always willing to go the extra for their customers. I stated Rittiman, but I've been to Walzem Road, Kitty hawk Road & another on the N. Side - all of the employees are amazing.
This is truly the absolute best coffee company. My friends joke that it's because it's Dutch Bros., because my family lives in the Netherlands. Maybe. 😆 No, really, if you're trying to make a decision to try them - DO IT!...
Read moreWell. Cute little building. The signs outside side show what they have but not price. And when you talk to said sign, nothing happens, and you feel not so smart. But. You haven't had coffee yet, and this is your second time there; the first time a nice young man took order standing out there with pad. Now he told me you could order a box of coffee to go and lattes also. Well, this morning before work, I stopped to get a box of chai. People. It's like 30 bucks. I got it anyway and a sugar-free coffee. They don't have a chai sugar-free bummer. I added a photo of the box to go. It seems pretty small to me. Anyway. It looks like bunch options for cold drinks. Price doesn't seem different than the other famous coffee shop down the street. The chai was like flavored milk. Meh. I felt bad for people in line behind me since it took so long and they have to...
Read moreThe coffee here is always good. Better than Starbucks I think. The customer service is strange. The employees come out to take your order so it helps if you look at a menu online. Then when you go to get your coffee at the window there is an employee there whose job it is to talk to you. This I find awkward. It's always the same type of conversation but last time, the girl at the window was obviously not paying attention to my responses and she actually interrupted me twice to talk to someone behind her. Which I found rude. She literally left me talking to myself. I'd rather they not talk to me. As a matter of fact, if a customer is on the phone or doesn't look like they want to interact...read the room and hand...
