Firstly she gave my medium pizza. To a lady who just got there. I called in a well done, medium pepperoni n mushrooms. That lady ordered 2 Large, so between the employee not double checking a name for her order. I digress, I walk in and pay. Ohhh ugh, hold on. She went to a table with a lady who had My pizza! Why? Then employee doesn't come let me know squat. Gooooes to the back and secrets to the pizza boy to make another right quick. I'm watching through their counter. And homeboy has the nerve to give me a 6 minute pizza. Well Done, Hello! Make it right not worse. So she has to return the box to the back for more time... tic tock people. So 5 minutes later pizza boy is agitated for having to "redo" my order and now put it for longer. YET I'm the paying customer!!!!! Nobody apologized!!!!! And it was an Awkward situation. Like it was my fault! Are you Kidding Me? Very unpredictable there. But look at the inside. It's an argument from a stabbing. Just horrible area. Walkers everywhere. And Justin the pizza boy is lucky I was in flip flops and sleepy. Handling the pizza box all fast to show the second time It's well Done. Attitude check. I didn't say anything wrong.. nothing was compensated and no Manners! I Would never return for a possible good experience 40/60 chances of a successful order. A/100. How? Even though the tables are sticky after days of no wipe down. Toooo busy. Good luck people. Anybody can make a pizza. Not everyone can make a joyful experience with food. I didn't eat it. Lose of appetite. And money and time waiting around. ✋️ you had 1 job.

August 2025 Back at Goomba's to pick up some pizza for some visiting guests and a somber event at home. I was greeted, placed my order - note ordered 3 pizzas, one customized to have no tomatoes due to allergies - ordered a cheese 12", Molto Meat 12", and the customized white tomato w/ out the tomatoes 12". The pizzas were ready within 20 minutes, looked and tasted great. Hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good or better than mine. November 2024 Decided to give this pizzeria a try, and they did not disappoint. While the Blanco Rd near Lockhill Selma location is not the flagship location ( off Wurzbach & IH-10 area ), it's service and that of the staff make up for the effort, customer service and courteous approach. Mark assisted us, answered all of our questions, and guided us through the ordering process. Note, we first stopped in for a slice of the sausage pizza and a soda. We ended up leaving with 2 large pizzas (16 inches) - 1 veggies, 1 - cheese, and 1 meat lovers (20 inches) to take to some visiting out of town guests. I hope that if you decide to visit, your experience is as good as mine.

New to the neighborhood, we decided to give Goombas a chance during our Spring Break. First impression of restaurant was that it's impeccably clean. Floors, tables & soda station were spotless. The menu is easy to view & they have specials that rotate. For our first visit we ordered 1 kids spaghetti, 1 kids chicken alfredo & 2 #1s which are two slices of pizza w/2 toppings each & a fountain drink. Our total was around $50 without tip. Kids meals do not include a drink, so those are separate. From the photos, you can see that the pizza slices are GIANT! Their lunch specials include two of those monstrous slices w/a drink - definitely a deal! The kids portions were also generous, leaving us with extra to take home. Pizza was fresh, crust was perfection & the mushrooms were not from a can - hallelujah! We'll definitely make this place a regular joint we visit & are happy to support a local business!

I just want to share my story about the owner of Goombas pizzeria on blanco Context; Earlier this week I was doing Uber eats. I was working on picking up 2 orders, the first one was for goombas and then next one was at PF Changs. When you pick up an order some restaurants will as you to confirm it and show them that it’s confirmed.

So when I entered goombas I let him know I was here to pick up an order and asked kindly if I could use their restroom as I had been holding it for awhile and he kinda condescendingly told me yes but I decided to ignore that because I planned on just being in and out. So I used the restroom and came to pick up the order which happened to be a lot of items so I just asked him to make sure that I had everything I needed and again he responded condescendingly which I again chose to dismiss. So he asked me to confirm so I verified the order and confirmed the pick up which it then showed my next pick up, so I showed him my phone then I grabbed the food and started to walk towards the door. He stopped me and said it doesn’t show as confirmed on his device and I again showed him that it was confirmed on my phone and let him know it’s probably not showing on his end because I didn’t have service in their store but it has been confirmed and I am supposed to be on the way to my next pickup. So I started walking towards the door and he came and took the food out of my hand and was arguing with me about the order and I again showed him my phone that shows my next pick up route and that he’s prolonging the time it’s taking me to get to the next pick up which affects my relationship with Uber and he was just shouting at me about it and told me to never come to his store (I’ve never even been to goombas before so okay? Lol?) and he literally FOLLOWED me to my car shouting at me and stood outside of my car while I cried and called Uber to report this incident and I ended up losing my next delivery. Before I got in my car I had asked him if he was a manager and he shouted “IM THE OWNER”

I am a single mom that’s on leave from my job because of a disability and Uber is the only thing helping me survive right now. I’ve had an Uber account for almost 4 years and I’ve never experienced anything like this especially not a grown man following me to my car shouting at me for literally no reason! I did everything I was supposed to do and he made my safety feel threatened . I can’t believe that the owner of the store treats...

We will NEVER eat at this restaurant again. We were very regular customers, spending between $80-$100 2-3 times a month. They messed up our order tonight (the pizza literally looked like they’d made a cheese pizza and simply tossed the toppings on after the fact, and our mozzarella/pepperoni/salami calzone had ricotta in it 🤮), and then told us they’d remake it, but it would take an hour because they had a ton of orders in que. We told them that was completely unsatisfactory and that we’d already waited over 45 minutes for the first order. They said they’d do it asap and they would call when it was ready.

They called us 10 minutes later and said the owner had come in and he wanted to see the order before they’d make it. I told them that was unacceptable because we weren’t going to wait in the store for them to remake the food and asked to speak to the owner. They put me on hold for 10 minutes. At that point, my husband headed back to the restaurant with the food and the owner WAS NOT EVEN THERE. The manager accused him of yelling at the girl at the counter (he was speaking loudly because she was ignoring his question about speaking with the owner—literally ignoring with no response!!) and she then proceeded to tell him that he “couldn’t” tell people how bad their service was tonight.

They’ve messed our order up once before and the owner was SUPER NICE about it. Even offered us a free pizza in the future that we never even redeemed because we know things are hard right now and it’s hard to get good staff.

But this Goombas seriously needs to take a good long look at their kitchen staff as well as their on-site managers. This was a total disaster and the food was...
