I want to ensure I submit an accurate review about this place. We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago. KC is the sweetest, and most attentive during the entire process. However, here are a few things that made me rate this ballroom so low: We got the basic package, which is not at all cheap. Went with the ballroom’s center pieces. The centerpiece mirrors were dirty, and smeared. The glasses had stains on them. The cloth napkins were old and had lose threads (long ones otherwise I would not complain). During our tasting, we requested 3 types of beer. This place does not allow any outside alcohol to be brought in. This request for the 3 types of beer is the most commonly drank by our guests. $5 a beer. They ran out of Budlight, and Budweiser early in the night (9:30pm) our event was until midnight. We are beer drinkers, and we made this request at our tasting. The sweetheart table was ridiculously small. No center pieces fit on it, and even at that, my husband and I would not have been able to comfortably share the table and eat our dinner. The cake and gift table were bigger than this! Not MY choice, but what I was “issued” when I received the floor plan set up. If I had been given dimensions on the draft, I would not have accepted it. My mother in law requested to have it switched with the gift table, and it was done. The catering company provided tea. However, when guests wanted soda, they had to purchase it from the bar. Here is the problem: The soda was sold for $5, but not for the whole can. The bartender served a small cocktail cup with soda, and put the rest of the can under the bar. So, a portion of the soda can was sold for $5, not the whole can. SCAM! Right in front of our eyes! The ballroom itself is nice, but buyer beware!!! Please make sure to check check check or have someone check for you before your actual event! I’m glad I had my mother, my mother in law, and matron of honor be there and inspect before we got there, and I am thankful for that and for the pictures. Lastly, I received an email (automated) with request to fill out a survey. When I tried to fill out this survey, I kept getting an error stating I needed to enter the correct date of my event. Needless to say, I could not submit the survey. I wish I was able to, because I am a strong believer of customer satisfaction surveys, as the best way to improve a service. With this said, we should not have to be inspecting when we put our trust in your hands. We should not be paying $5 for a soda can, and only be given (“served”) 1/3 of it. Give me the whole can!
