Understandable why people love this place! Great tea and great staff. Best of all...free samples.
Staff was really friendly from when we walked in to the moment we left. They introduced us to the store and let us know we could try any of the teas and mix and match. They also have a drive thru if you don't want to walk in the store.
Since they sell teas by cup size, pricing is actually pretty good. It's a little bit more than $2 for the smallest size and only goes up a little for each upgrade. The perks of getting to try all the flavors and get to mix as much of each tea as you want to create the perfect one for you should be what draws you to this place. They also have happy hour from 2-4pm where teas are half priced. You really won't find another place for this kind of value.
There are plentiful flavors to choose from. From sweet to unsweet and fruity to spiced, there really is something for everyone. You can just walk up to each dispenser and sample as much as you'd like before creating your drink. You can also buy the tea flavors themselves and brew at home. Or you can get their large jugs.
Overall, great tea options and the ability to try before buying was the major selling point. I'd...
Read moreHTeaO is a wonderous and interesting place. The many many teas on offer have very distinct and unique flavors that each of which piqued my interest at least into tasting. They conveniently and generously put out cute tiny little tasting cups so that you may spash your pallete with the undeniably satiating flavor profiles of these interesting brews. From the good 'ol regular sweet tea we Texans are accustomed to, to the enigmatic Root Beer flavored tea (which is my favorite, it's such a strange and satisfying flavor), you will definitely find something you love here. My one and only qualm is with the pricing. Such a unique place must cost quite a bit to operate which explains their pricing structure. One small and one large tea cost me upwards $6 total. I even brought my own cups which saved me perhaps $0.15 each. I graciously paid the bill, but it's not something I can see myself doing extremely often. I do believe they have a happy hour deal, but I have not been able to make it at that time. This little haven is worth a visit as it's a uniquely Texas curio that fits right in here in The...
Read moreCame in on a Sundar afternoon for some tea! We had been to the Stone Oak location but never went back because it’s just too far. This location is definitely more convenient, and Alamo Ranch will be perfect! Anyway, the whole HTeaO experience was incredible. I was greeted wonderfully when I arrived at the store. The setup was great and the staff at checkout was amazing! Jose was the cashier for our transaction and he was great! If I wanted to nitpick and give some feedback, I’d say that the random 4 tea flavors on the same counter as the registers should have a more prominent placement with the rest of the teas. By the time I saw those flavors, I had already decided on my perfect combination and made my large cup. Had I know the Strawberry Passion was up there, I would have gotten that. Again, that’s me being nit picky in order to provide some real feedback. Doesn’t affect the five star rating though. This place is incredible and amazing! And they have an app now for loyalty points....
