Jim's Restaurants — Restaurant in San Antonio

If I could give this place a 1/2 star I would by far the worst Jim's worldwide! the place itself is really old and smelled like cigarettes, the table was dirty we sat and and the restroom sewer drain was overflowing with poopy water on the floor but I couldn't hold it. My waitress (at first) was nice and greeted us upon arrival and told us to have a seat wherever we liked, cant remember her name she was the older African American woman that calls everyone mommy and papi. She took our order, food came out fairly fast my eggs had not only hair but egg shells in them and as I looked at the cooks none of them had any hair nets on their heads or beards so not sure where it came from but I didn't complain because our waitress was busy helping other people she seemed to be the waitress to the whole Jim's. All the other food was hot and fresh and no issues, our waitress never came to check on us either. As I was going to pay 2 men were standing there talking to each other, looked at me standing at the register and walked off which is when I then went to the restroom came back and paid. while in the parking lot making sure everyone is ready to go we see our same waitress come out of Jim's towards the car, me and my husband thinking we forgot something and she was bringing it to us, she then says "Next time yall go to a restaurant yall need to tip your waitress because all they pay us is $2.35/hr and Im expecting a tip and next time yall come and don't tip we will put yall on a do not serve list" which for 1 who cares considering what I went through and there's tons of Jim's in San Antonio duh! I usually do tip and very well too but why should I? and plus how are you going to basically chase me down to tell me what I need to do with the money I worked hard...

Jim's restaurant on Blanco Rd need to be evaluated by the State Board of Restaurants and Bars. Mainly because the Management Crew over there is incompetent and it's the basic fundamental knowledge of simple things that involves the restaurant is where they are fallen short of, implementing in their day to day actions. Individual who is aware of Exactly what the food is supposed to taste like, and the consistency of the texture of certain items, should be put in place to lead and guide others whom seems as though they have it all together and they really don't have a clue. Now don't get me wrong,... I mean if that's the very best that the Crew can do collectively, my heart goes out to you,...as the consumer... but I'm pretty sure that if they would hire individuals who are passionate about perfection, and along with that move a few employees around from other Jim's to further train the newer employees,... but before you actually began please be sure to terminate the management team ASAP. I'm a firm believer of the mere fact tha,.... it's not very smart to Put New Wine in Old...

Yea I never comment EVER, especially to restaurants. But coming to this restaurant food was Good, environment atmosphere is good vibes. But the service was one of if not THEE BEST I'VE EVER HAD,4star restaurant service at this place,don't know where they found this diamond in the rough but man this female went above and beyond her duties and was so professional, positive vibes energy, and on her duties and attentive to her tables. Me and my wife and kids were there and she made us feel right at home and welcoming, like if it was at my close friends house and very hospitality towards there guests or friends for that matter. I tipped her $25 well deserved, I swear this waitress is to good for this restaurant, and she's pregnant too btw so I can only imagine how much of her work ethic is at it's 100%, but such a rare jem her name is Jasmine I believe .So if you gonna eat here i recommend you be sure to sit or if ur happen to get her as a waitress server then you will have the most enjoyable,top of the line waitress and...
