BWO Furniture & Mattress — Local services in San Antonio

Me and my spouse had been shopping for furniture for weeks. We just bulid a home. We came across bargain Warehouse Outlet with all their advertising. When walked in the store we was greeted immediately and treated with such respect. I told myself these are some good and honest people, I usually don't do small company but Robert the sale manager or sale person made great deal and promises. I caught my eye on this gorgeous entertainment center, I wanted it bad but was still shopping around. I came in a few days later and met Sam later found he was the owner, he call me into his office and I told him I would like that entertainment center however was very surprised when he told me the price which was way higher than I was given like $500 dollars more. I told him the price I was given and he talk down on his employees, I was shock and immediately tried leaving, he chase me saying this is a good deal. A worker told me to leave and come when Robert was here. I was so frightening because this is what I was afraid of. Weeks later I decided to give them another shot considering Robert was very nice and offered a good deal. When I return I seen some nice pictures so I purchased 4 and the entertainment. Robert promise to assemble the pieces and and even offered to hang the pictures, I was very happy. I brought the pictures and entertainment on 8-22-2017 it came in on 8-30-17 allegedly. Sam called me to confirm when I wanted it delivered I told him on 8-31-17 earliest you can he confirmed between I pm - 4 pm. Long story short noone came. I called the next day noone knew about delivery time so Robert schedule at 9-1-17 between 11 am -1 pm noone showed up. At this point I am upset this is the second time, when called Sam or Robert didn't know about it calling me a lier basically. They promised and said you have my word I will come on 9-2-17 never came and when called they was ignoring me I must of call like 10 times, finally I show up and demand my money, I guess they felt bad and kept apologize and said will will go 9-3-17 if I have to go myself. When two guys show up no one sat up saying they don't do assembly, I then said I was promised it would be assembled and pictures would be hung up. They left and I contacted the owner he told Robert don't know want he talking about we don't assemble​ but I will do it for you. I am like to myself every company assemble whether they charge or not nevertheless they assemble but not the pictures. For the time I brought my thing I was disrespected, my spouse done a survey on the company because was very dissatisfied and disappointed. I gave them 4 chances. When we came to the store after was call about the survey and to make it up Robert told my spouse "I like your survey" with so much disrespect. I explain to the owner I was shopping for weeks and decided to but from you with my hard earn money to be lied to and not honor any promises. ( I never been so disrespected like he did me) the owner her how the employee and asked like it was nothing, now after he tried offering cash like a crook he is. I try getting pass these people by talking to Robert and he shud me off like I don't care (he basically spit in my face by not ) it was right by the owner he didn't say anything. That is it I will never returned and I will not ever recommend this place This is how they treat people paying customers who works hard for the money. Bargain Warehouse Outlet just started maybe 3 year ago and already have so may bad reviews. Look it up on Google, Facebook, Yelp and maybe given others out there. I AM HELPING YOU WITH MY EXPERIENCE AND MAYBE YOU WILL CHOICE WISELY. THEY ARE CROOKS AND LIERS. Thanks for listening. P.s some of this seem to be fake reviews to boost up...

After about 8 months, BWO sent me a reply mentioning they're reply system had gone out and couldn't reply to my initial review. I gave the store a call as that's what they asked I do. I spoke with Sam who immediately let me know of the situation and wanted to make things right. He let me know I should drop by the store soon and he would have something for me.

I got in touch with Sam at the store who then referred me to Armando and little did I know that he was going to completely give us a BETTER mattress than the one we had initially bought over 8 months ago. I really don't know who else would've gone that extra mile or two and do that. It showed alot that they would even reply 8 months after my initial review. Now I know why this furniture store has so many great reviews.

Thanks again to Sam and Armando and the whole store for doing this....again...8 months after I initially left my review. We'll be back again when we need other furniture!

April 2020:

Buying was not a problem as the gentleman who attended us was great at letting us know about the product. Although after about 3 weeks of using the mattress we bought..we weren't satisfied...had bad body aches and it just wasn't that great of a mattress from what we had before.

Contacted store to see about possibly getting a refund or return for something else and pay the difference. After about a week of trying to get a call back from them....Sam called and we had a phone conversation for about 15 minutes.

It was during the call where things went south. He seemed to get upset about the fact we weren't satisfied with our purchase...they don't have no type of 30day trials or anything.....went as far to say that we didn't even spend that much money ($730) and that he would refund us back. Just his tone the way he said it....my wife and I didn't like that. We get we didn't spend a whole lot on the mattress...but it wasn't about that ...it was about comfort.

Long story short...we gave away the matress and let Sam keep his $730. He said he didn't make nothing on our sale, which I find hard to believe that. Id rather take my pride than have someone try to belittle us by saying we didn't spend that much on it. We took our business elsewhere.

This is thee WORST place to do business with. Their website advised there was FREE SHIPPING for my order. 2 weeks went by and I emailed the store to inquire on the merchandise. The owner Sam responded they had just received my merchandise, but I had to pay an extra 150.00 bucks to get my items delivered! I showed proof on my receipt that their website said there was free shipping. Then I was advised they would honor the free shipping BUT they had to wait until someone else in Converse, TX ordered an item bc I was an hour away. (Marbach to Converse TX is 25mins FYI). Another week went by and a delivery guy texted me a date/time for delivery. On that day no one called/texted me to say the date had been changed. I called the delivery guy who said I needed to speak to sam regarding my delivery. When i spoke to the owner he advises he didnt know what was going on but would "take care of it" another week went by (we are now at a month since ordered) no call/texts. I called Sam again and finally asked for a refund. Go figure he says it was easier for him to give a refund than deliver to my area since I would not pay the extra 150.00. This refund alone took a whole exrra week and i had to personally go to the store to get my refund. This place unprofessional including the owner. He talks with no action. DO NOT WASTE your time...
