For the 1st time outta the last 6 visits, they actually had chicken! I almost gasped. That being said, I, yet again, was requested to pull around to the front parking spots and waited about 7 minutes for my order which was for just 2 people & the restaurant was not at all busy...they also forgot some items, as usual & the drive thru employee was super rushy (despite there being noone behind us) and flat or ambivalent; clearly expressing annoyance when I paid with a large bill (cash).
I didn't want to wait even longer to go back through the drive thru due to it now being 4 vehicles deep & didn't want to have to walk in & wait in line to get our missing items. I believe we will simply not go back to this location any longer.
They have let me down 5x now by not having chicken??? @ random times & days over the past 3-4 months nor knowing how to be ready or prepared for someone who sends in an online pick up order (for which, on 1 occasion, abt a month ago, I waited 39 minutes once I was there & had confirmed my order).
The hold up was due to noone in the store "knowing" how to prepare an online order that included a gallon of pre-made margarita mix...then, once home, the order was lacking 2 small bottles of tequila & we received frozen mix versus liquid (for "on the rocks" cocktails) despite the fact that the entire order was made ahead of time, an online pre-ordered meal with margaritas & I had already been told upon my arrival that our pick up order was ready....40 minutes later, I was leaving...45 minutes later extremely...
Read moreLast night January 14, 2017 I went in to this location to eat with my husband, who just got out of work, mind you it was around midnight. We were hungry and wanted to pick up something to eat, instead we got off to eat inside. He ordered a cabana bowl mixed with beef and chicken, from his bowl he made a taco for me. So I'm eating the only thing I was enjoying at the moment because the tortilla soup didn't taste like It use to and the chciekn flautas just wasn't hitting the spot for me, as I'm chewing a bite I took from the taco from the cabana bowl I bite into what I believe to be a small bone, only to find out that I was chewing on someone's f*g fingernail. Never have I been so disgusted in my life thats the kind of s**t that will keep me away from ANY and ALL Taco Cabana locations for as long I am on this earth. I've yet to here back from corporate but when I they hear from me something has to be done. Oh and to top it off the manager on duty at the time refunded me the cost of the bowl which was ALMOST a whole $6 I hope that no one ever experiences anything like this. It sucks and ruined my outlook of Taco Cabana as a company. Obviously their not enforcing their employees to abide by standard rules in a restaurant to glove up. Sick! I'd give this place no stars if I could but unfortunately they don't have that...
Read moreFirst of all let me say that I have patronize and enjoyed Taco Cabana for many years. This particular experience though was horrible. While ordering a chicken fajita quesadilla we were told that they were out of those. So we ordered chicken fajita tacos with lettuce, tomato, guacamole and sour cream only to be told that they were out of lettuce. But we got them anyway. We received old, very small, thick tortillas with some chicken, sour cream and guacamole. No tomatoes. When I paid the cashier I requested pico and napkins, she said nothing and shut her window. When she handed out the bag I asked if she remembered about the pico. She nodded yes and slammed her window closed. No explanation, no we are sorry, no thank you. It felt like we were bothering them even though there was nobody else in the drive thru and very few cars in the parking lot. I hollered "your welcome" at a closed window and we went home to eat. The tacos, nor the service were of the quality that we have had in the past years. After paying them $9.96 for 4 tacos, $5.16 for add ons to the tacos and $2.29 for a medium drink ($18.85 total) then receiving substantially below par food and service you can be sure that we will probably not patronize Taco Cabana...
