Kahramana Mediterranean: A Gem for Foodies fills the Mediterranean craving big time. From the moment I parked and walked in through the back entrance, I felt transported to a vibrant corner of the Mediterranean. Kahramana Mediterranean nails that perfect blend of authenticity, atmosphere, and hospitality that makes a dining experience truly memorable. The parking was easy and accessible, right behind the building with an entrance in the back—super convenient, especially in an area where parking can be a challenge. Once inside, Kahramana’s atmosphere was immediately inviting. With its warm, easy decor and spacious layout, it was both family-friendly and relaxing, and the cleanliness only added to the charm. About the food. We first eat with our eyes. Starting with the falafel: it’s crunchy on the outside, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Every bite felt like a healthy indulgence. The Lamb and Beef Pita with fries was just phenomenal. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly spiced. I couldn’t get over how well they seasoned the fries—crispy, flavorful, and not at all greasy. And the hummus? It was silky and rich, drizzled with high-quality olive oil and a touch of paprika, paired with warm, thin bread that was pure perfection. As for drinks, the homemade iced tea was refreshing and freshly brewed. It’s a rare treat to find tea brewed to such perfection these days! Service-wise, Kahramana shines. The staff was attentive, courteous, and genuinely warm, making sure every aspect of our meal was up to par. Overall, dining here felt like a mini escape to the Middle East. I’d highly recommend Kahramana Mediterranean if cravings fill the belly otro to any fellow foodie looking for an authentic Mediterranean experience!

Solid dining experience. These folks are very happy to share their passion for food with you and it shows. Some of the best hummus I've ever had with a couple of kalamata olives included and just a dash of sumac. I had a mixed grill with gyro and chicken shawarma and it was excellent. The tzatziki was a little heavier than I prefer (I like a lighter yogurt base) but overall Delicious. Plus my fries were extra crispy. Lastly, I treated myself to the tea and I was surprised at how much I liked the hint of rose water since I'm usually not a fan. Excellently balanced to be just the right blend of sweet and refreshing. Very much looking forward to my next trip! Fair warning that's it's kinda hidden of the road but definitely a hidden gem worth discovering! ***Edit*** I'm in love with this place! The burger is top 2 or 3 in the City and I'm an old fat guy who has tried them all! The beef kabobs are second to none. I keep trying dishes thinking something will fall short but, alas, it never does! Everything from their Turkish coffee with the perfect frothy top proving it was properly brewed to the perfect balance of cardamom. I just had to update my post to say that everything is great here. Even the bathroom is super clean and the wait staff is super attentive. Absolute gem of a restaurant in San Antonio! Though it's still kinda hidden off medical, at least Google takes you to the right place now! I'm enjoying my sixth cup of hot tea after a great meal and it's such a great flavor and feeling on a nice September night!

Dropped in to give this place a try. The waitress was friendly and helped me decide on Chicken Tikka plate. As I waited I noticed the interior was small but nicely decorated and very clean. My plate arrived in short time and I was surprised on the generous portions. This came with rice, salad, bread, grilled tomato wedge, and grilled chicken with dipping sauce. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of salad dressing. The rice was cooked perfectly and the grilled tomato was a nice complement to the rice. The chicken by itself was crazy good, grilled textured on the outside but very tender on the inside and excellent mix of spice flavors. Adding the sauce to the chicken was heavily. I ended the evening with a delicious baklava. I very much enjoyed all aspects of the tasty delights here and you could tell the staff took care and pride in preparing and cooking this fulfilling meal. This was my first time here and will definitely be back to try other dishes. 👍

I found this place by accident and I’m glad I did. I was looking for Beirut but I’m guessing they went out of business because this place was in that spot. I talked to one of the owners and he said they used to be a food truck and this is their first brick and mortar. They were so new to the building in fact, they were still putting up signs and decals.

You walk in and seat yourself. There are several tables and booths to sit at. We sat down and decided to get an appetizer, two entrees and drinks. We ordered the hummus first. It was well seasoned and came with piping hot fresh bread! Way better than getting pita chips. I also ordered their mango smoothie that I was told made with real mangos and mango juice. This smoothie was so smooth, creamy, and fresh that it blew me away! They could honestly give Smoothie King and everybody else a run for their money.

Next we ordered the falafel wrap, which comes with fries as a side and the chicken shawarma plate. This plate comes with rice, garlic sauce, cucumber salad and pickled vegetables. Both me and my fiancé were thoroughly impressed with how flavorful everything was! The pickled vegetables are something that I could eat as a snack all the time. They had the right amount of spice and heat which was surprisingly pleasant. The falafel was very tasty and the chicken was fresh and tender.

Even though this is a new restaurant and they were short-staffed, the service was impeccable and so was the food. With everything, I believe our total came to around $40.00 which is fairly reasonable considering the freshness of the food here. This is definitely one of my new go-to spots for lunch and dinner now. I wish them great luck...
