So there we were. Getting out of church over at Omega Church(Jesus loves ya) and decided we were hungry. There aren’t many places still open around 9 p.m., but we had been eyeing Killer Burger and knew they were getting ready to have their grand opening, so we decided to swing by and see if they were open yet, and yasssss….they were!! Open until 10 p.m., so we didn’t even feel like we had to rush. We had plenty of time to enjoy a dine in experience. And what a fun place it was!
The vibe is great. The music was just loud enough to drown out other tables but not so loud you couldn’t hear at your own table. Lots of seating options and no wait to find somewhere to sit. We didn’t have to wait more than about 2-3 minutes to place our order when was fine by me, because I needed that long to figure out what u wanted to order because there were so many things I wanted to try. The staff was super friendly and I’m not just saying that. It was obvious that everyone enjoyed working there. You don’t get smiles like that at the end of your shift unless you’re genuinely enjoying yourself and your team. We had several members of the staff check on us during our dining experience to see if we enjoyed our food which we absolutely did.
Those fries yooooo. Best fries I’ve had. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and piping hot and soft on the inside. I never eat all my fries, but I left not one. They were that good. In fact, our food was so good that we decided to order burgers to go so we could try some other options. I’m not sharing what we chose because it doesn’t matter. It’s all delicious. Everything we ordered was worth it. You won’t be disappointed.
The drink options are great too. Something for everyone whether it’s soda, lemonade, tea, and even draft beer options if that’s your thing. Overall I would give Killer Burger a 10/10 with a resounding guarantee that we will be back. Glad to have a new place to enjoy on the SE...
Read moreFirst time. We were welcomed in immediately upon arrival. We ordered the teemah & the fun guy in double. Shareable fries for 2 with dipping sauces.
Taking away a star due to service. When food was ready, it came out in a to go bag. My husband told the lady we never were asked dine in or take out and the response was “oh I don’t know that’s not what I handle” like what?! Regardless, we are giving you feedback. Still a business. I’d think empathize and politely say you’ll take the feedback and fix for next time. It wouldn’t have been so big of a deal if the response was different.
Food - flavorful. The Swiss cheese fondue is very dominant. My husband said he would have enjoyed it more if he could actually taste his blue cheese but the fondue just overpowered everything else. I’d say the same but I still got a bite of mushroom in every bite. Fries were good. Seasoned just right along with crispness.
If you’re looking for a traditional burger spot, I think there are better options especially considering the prices. BUT if you want flavor, something different, then this is it....
Read moreI had not heard of this chain before when we decided to try it. Just by viewing the menu, I knew this was going to be a good restaurant and I am pleased to say I was totally right. Just by reading through the menu, I could see that this establishment has developed and perfected a handful of quality menu items. Everything that we tried was delicious, made well, and didn’t have me feeling like I just had greasy fast food like most places do. The sauces are delectable. The service was excellent. Everything was so delicious that we went back two more times in the same week (so much for trying not to eat out too much).
Out of all the eateries on this long strip of road (and trust me, there’s dozens), this has become my favorite. Their lunch special is unbeatable and the food is of high quality. I am very happy to have...
