[First paragraph is old review] Food is very tasty, service is great, and the prices are low. There's music playing and Tv's on. I go to this place after church every Sunday and enjoy my visit every time.
^I posted that 3 years ago^ I come here alot. Been here several hundreds of times and they rarely mess anything up but lately they have, and everytime I tell them it seems like the manager thinks I'm lying or something. Today I ordered 2 chicken tortilla soups. There was no chicken or cheese. Literally at all. I drank mine and took out the big chunks of potato looking for chicken or cheese. I got to the bottom from just drinking and there was none. My friend barely had any of there soup but fished for chicken or cheese with their spoon and they didn't have any either. I called and let them know and they said the new order will be ready in 7 minutes without asking me if that was okay. I went anyways and when I got there the manager asked how many there were and said 2 like 5 times and I gave him the full soup so they could check it then they brought one new soup with the rice that it comes with and not the other one. So i told them there was 2 soups again and he asked for the other one from the first time so I gave it to him and it was mostly gone because I drank the soup when I was looking for chicken and cheese. He made a smirk face like I was lying because it wasn't full. He gave me a new soup with no rice and I just left. I am now running late for plans I have because of all this. Read moreI have been patronizing La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant for a couple of years, but the last few visits my order has not been correct. The food is always hot and fresh, so I tend not to open the bag until I arrive home so it will stay hot. After working a long shift on my contracting job, I had a taste for a beef enchilada plate and as tired as I was, I stopped and stood in the drive through window and finally was able to order. When I arrived home and opened my bag, I discovered I had cheese enchiladas and refried beans, not only did I not get my beef enchiladas, but I didn't get rice. So I called to inform them and spoke to the manager, Omar, who was very nice and asked when I could come back for the enchilada plate I ordered. I told him I would not be able to go back until tomorrow after Church service. I was too tired to go back out. He game his name and said come by tomorrow. Of course in my mind I was thinking I probably wouldn't have the same craving for beef enchiladas as I have now, but graciously accepted his offer. I went back on Sunday as promised and asked for Omar and was surprised to find he seemed to have forgotten about our conversation and I felt like he reluctantly replaced my order. My thoughts were, maybe he was hoping I would not show up. I was asked to pull up and my order was brought out by Omar, but I didn't feel like a respected customer and decided that I would no longer patronize this establishment. Read moreWent there Friday 23rd for lunch. They were full but had plenty of waitresses around. The manager with a blue button down shirt came to bring us our caldo so I said "Could you please also bring me a knife and some ketchup?" **THE LOOK HE GAVE ME WAS AS IF I HAD OFFENDED HIM! He didn't reply and went back to his register while I waited and waited and waited. The least he could have done was tell our waitress or anyone to get me what I had requested. He just saw me looking at him and he quickly went to hide by the drive thru window. My husband and I couldnt even finish eating our food out of being upset at the service. I walked up to the counter where he helped someone else while i caught our waitress to ask her for what I needed. I explained to her what had happened and the guy just looked from the corner of his eye. Didn't come apologize, didn't do anything at all to acknowledge his lack of customer service. My husband and I both work in CS and we would never be offended nor ignore a customer no matter our position there. The waitress just apologized for him saying that he had PMS!! As if that was professional to say as well. So very disappointed with the service. We didnt ask for a discount nor would we leave without paying out of integrity but will not be returning.
