This location has gone down so much since the new owner has been there! They used to be so friendly, it would almost make your morning to go there, chat some now it’s nothing but rude faces, no one even says your welcome when I say thank you, the customer service is terrible now. Also BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU COMPLAIN- I complained to them about an issue, via email- with some very personal details and complaint about a specific employee as well. The very next morning I went to the coffee store I was grilled with questions about my email which should’ve been kept confidential but she knew word by word what I said and that’s not the owner of brevity and I doubt she handles social media. Also I reached out to them on instagram first , I had to reach out multiple times, I saw other get immediate help for their issues. They BLOCKED me from instagram. I emailed them saying I’ve been trying to get the issue fixed and I got blocked. They blamed it on some new system issue. They did refund me points but it had a free coffee and a free treat (crissoiants, etc) for 150 points, and then the large coffee is 100 points so it was a great deal for only 50 extra points. I got it one day; the next day it was taken off. So I could’ve used my points on getting that but they took it off I guess they didn’t want to give out any for free, I just continued to use my points but it’s so awkward and everyone knows the email I sent word for word it’s unreal to me, also forced me To speak over the phone reguarding my issue with the employee, them taking off the treat, and why my email was shared. I told them I don’t have a phone, I do things like this ONLY VIA EMAIL, as it’s best for proof. But they didn’t respond as they didn’t seem to care, the original issue was disgusting old whip cream days in a row. I go because it’s close but the customer service even besides what I said, so bad. Usually coffee places have a pep in their step or atleast say your welcome or have a good day not just roll their eyes at you and act like your an idiot. Or if I say, can you scan so I can get points, I get HOLD ON I’m putting in your drink, well I am aware but since they always “forget” to scan mine or ask for phone # I have to ask them to do so. One specific girl ruins my morning everyday she works. The manager pretends to be sweet but is not, she is rude, and doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing as well as managers at other locations and the old manager, (Cole) she doesn’t keep things private whatsoever. It’s almost like you leave a bad review anonymously and then the next day you go in and they talk to you about it, so unprofessional and awkward. They have a new location in boerne and many people have chosen not to go due to how their family members/friends have been treated by the staff at brevity locations which is sad because the coffee is sooooo good. They need to re-evaluate every employee, including managers. Not to mention, a girl who works there who USED to be nice- asked me to go buy her a vape pen and cash apped me. Store was 2 min so I felt bad saying no. Unprofessional. Also, asked me 2 weeks prior if I wanted to hit her vape pen through the window at the drive through, and a vape pen that’s NOT Tabacco but illegal. I hit it but I would never ask a random person to try my illegal drugs through the window at a tiny shop while working. Make sense now why both employees are in the bathroom at the same time sometimes. This is strictly for anyone who wants to know the truth. Brevity didn’t help me just made it worse. I have all the proof to back this up as well. They came out with an app, after so many points it says you get a free medium drink, after even more points you get a free large drink. I FINALLY earned enough points to go get my free medium drink and they said I still had to pay .27 cents for it. If you're going to advertise a FREE drink then it should be FREE meaning zero cents! If you don't want to give away free drinks then go back to your 3.50 off a drink deal you had before this rewards/loyalty app. It's the principal people! 27 cents is 27 cents, it's not free if I have to give you money for it.
