Long John Silver's - TEMP — Restaurant in San Antonio

Last time I ate Long Johns silver was maybe in 1996 with my family at a different location in the city. I avoid most sea food anything if im not visiting close to coast lines. Decided to give this a try since my boyfriend loves fish and has bugged me off and on about trying this place for him near us. I finally decided id give in. We used a 3rd party pick up to deliver. I ordered two 3 piece chicken plate with two sides for each one. Two Fish with Two chicken platter with two sides, and 2 pieces of Fish with 6 shrimp platter with two sides. It arrived missing one of the 3 piece chicken platter, one of the sides, and missing all the dipping sauces we selected. I of course notified the app which refunded for the issue, but there was still an issue we didnt find till a little in while eating. Boyfriends plate was missing 2 shrimp. One of the chicken plates was for one of my kids so I just gave him my pieces of chicken. The flavor and overall quality just wasnt that good. Two of the sides which was coleslaw and green beans came in a contain about the size of something barely larger than what people make jello shots in. Again I have not eating here in forever so wasnt expecting such small size sides. They seem useless in all reality. But they made sure to put in excess hush puppies -_- sadly that does not make up for the issues. Total cost came to around 50 bucks. What we ate and the quality was no where near that value. The cashier at the store was so nice. I placed my order, and she said I will bring it to you. 3 minutes later shes walking into the dining room holding my bag. I was like WOW that was SO FAST! She walked the bag to me.. Thats GREAT SERVICE. She hs a Great Attitude, Very Happy To Serve ALL The Mates. I was out the door so fast. I had to post my comment after leaving. 🤣🤣💙 All the food was hot and fresh. Ava enjoyed the Little Crunchies at the bottom of the box. Small cheese bites & triple chocolate cheese cake.

Almost no pepper shakers & no to go pepper packets. I heard a staff member say she would have to go to Sam's to get some until the location can get more.

Cheese bites are decent. Lightly seasoned. Chewy. Decent cheesy taste. Pairs with ketchypretty good.

Their green beans are always spot on, seasoned well and temperature hot.

Fries lack crunch and seasoning. Had to add pepper and salt to the ketchup to liven them up.

I've always been a fan of their fish, yes it's greasy. I do like the taste & light crunch of the fish. Pair with their lemony tartar sauce & it's a good time.

The crispy chicken is decent as well, juicy flavorful inside as well as the crunchy exterior which has a nice seasoned flavor as well.

The floors could definitely do with a good sweep and mop.

I haven't been here in a long while and I'm glad I did because it brought back some good memories of my family sitting around eating together and watching some good shows and talking.

Not fond of the prices as LJS has always run a little expensive for the portions you get, yet it does get you full at least it always...
