I had the special Monday special (pork ribs in a green tomatillo sauce) - it was way too salty but the meat was well cooked. I liked their rice and beans but their flour tortillas tasted weird and they also brought us corn tortillas which we didn't order - considering we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time, I don't know if they forgot our order or they gifted us corn tortillas. The hubby got huevos rancheros (easy over eggs with a red sauce) and he said it was well cooked and tasty. We also took some pan dulce to go, it all looked good, pretty standard stuff - but here again, there was a weird flavor - I had an empanada de queso and was expecting a mildly sweet, cream cheese-like filling (similar to something I've eaten elsewhere), this was filled with vanilla pudding (I wish I were joking). It was an odd texture and flavor mixed with the empanada - I didn't like it. I gave them a 3 because it was such a mixed experience - really good or not. Can't fault the service, they were...

1st time here. I happened to be driving by when I noticed this place and quickly did a U- turn. I've been wanting freshly "molino" style made corn tortillas. I thought I'd see a Molino machine but it was more of a restaurant than a Molino. They have a "store front" tortilleria along with a bakery. Not sure if they make their own pan dulce because it didn't smell like a bakery either. Needless to say, I was impressed that they sell blue corn tortillas. I grabbed a dozen along with their Chorizo, nopalitos and salsa verde. I can't wait to make my own Chorizo & nopalito taco and Chorizo & egg taco at home. The staff was friendly. There is a cute bar set up that looks tempting to check out during brunch. I may even try one of their calabazita dishes they advertise. I hope it doesn't disappoint because based on other reviews, the food isn't all that good....but to each their own. I will be coming back again! Vamos a ver! Come check them out...

In my opinion food is good and place clean and some plates not expensive.

However I believe they need to get to provide a better service

There is a young guy cleaning tables and some times he takes the order for drinks but no more.

In the mean time the waitresses are behind the cashier eating with the minimum intentions to come to the table to finalize the order. When finally they come ant take the order the food comes out really quick but they go back behind the cashier to continue to eat without worrying asking if customer need more drink or anything else

WORST PART THERE WAS ONE WAITRESS CLEANING HER TEETH WITH A NAPKIN JUST THERE IN FRONT OF EVERY BODY

if the service were better and be careful of the clean person who is handling the food, I am pretty sure they would have a better clientele.

Hope it helps to improve the service for their own benefit and oc...

This was my first visit here. I teetered between four stars and five stars. I went with five stars for a few reasons and here they are: they have homemade tortillas, they served three types of hot sauce, the salsa on the potatoes was homemade and they have a small selection of take home bakery items and tortillas. I ordered the machacado plate and it was pretty good. The parking here is a little tight but all in all, I will be back to try other dishes.

The food lacked flavor except for the rice that was too salty. The environment was a bit odd because they also have a bar and witnessed an awkward discussion between a server and a customer about him trying to sneak out a beer. Was loud and alot of foul language was being used by customer and made the setting uncomfortable. The chips and salsas were my favorite part. I also tried sweet bread and it was dry and one of the maranitos was hard sadly.
