I was supposed to be a first time customer. I placed my order for 3 fajita tacos to go; they took my money and told me there will be a wait, so I went next door to buy from the small grocery store on the corner. I returned and was told my food was still not ready, so I sat down for 5 minutes. By this time it has been 12 minutes since my order was placed. I thought the lady at register was calling me up to get my order, but she then informs me that they are out of fajitas. This whole time you would think they would have known this from the first minute I was there and they never should have taken my money and made me wait for nothing. I don't know if someone placed a very large order before me, but I think it was after me because I saw someone waiting for a to-go order and I overheard him on the phone confirming what tacos he ordered with someone on the phone. So if they ended up giving them my tacos, shame on them for trying to take care of that customer and not me. I was definitely pisssed off for them wasting my time with no explanation. On my way out I told them "with a name like Mariannos Fajita Restaurant they need to shut down or close their doors when food runs out!" I told them I was a first time customer and they messed up by making sure not only will I never go back, but I hope they shutdown especially after leaving this negative review. Don't go there. No parking, bad customer service, they didn't care what they just did to a potentially...
Read moreThe food is alright. The sweet tea is strong and more than often it tastes old. However the service is really great and so are the portions. I just fix the strength of the tea with some coffee creamer and a teeny bit of sugar. I am a big person so while everyone can be full I'm not there yet. But the food here is filling. I came with my mom. She ordered Huevos a la Mexican with nopales and I ordered the pork chop lunch plate. It came with 2 porkchops that were very nicely sized! They were a bit dry but the seasoning made up for it. Wanted the rice a bit more seasoned but it was good with the beans and porkchop. My mom really likes to eat here because she says the coffee is delicious and the nopales here are really good. It's quiet here and i would say it's perfect for an introvert that just wants to eat without the pressure of a bunch of people around you but is fine with a person here or there. I like it here because i don't like being constantly bothered but still want to be serviced....
Read moreFirst time here & first time trying the pupusas. They were awesome for $1.95 each or so I thought according to the menu. The price on their Clover POS states the price as $2.25 & they gave the excuse that their new menus haven't arrived. Not my damn fault! BE AWARE as many restaurants practice this same trick. Do the math on your calculator + 8.25% TAX. If they say it's more, they're trying to...
