Mini Tacos El Caminante — Restaurant in San Antonio

I got the quesadilla grande with Al Pastor. It was alright. I’d rather go to other taco trucks. First let me say this, I think it would be good if the guys included maybe putting tomato and lettuce on the side or some cilantro and onion with the quesadilla. Another thing I kinda didn’t like about it was that I think it’s not enough cheese in the quesadilla. It’s definitely more meat than cheese. I had trouble getting the taste of the cheese. I think there needs to be a better ratio between meat and cheese. They did come with lime! They did include the salsas both red and green. They are great!

The frijoles charros for a 1$ can’t be beat. They just need to make them less greasy. Also when I received my order they actually had thrown the cup in there with the lid on. I’d prefer if they hand it over in my hand because you know the juice does tend to come out even with the lid on if it’s in the bag moving around.

Overall, the food is good for the price. I do know places nearby that I would rather go to instead. I say all this not to discourage this business, but to encourage them to see what their competitors are doing and really compete with them. So I think it could be better if they work on the...

Take out: 10/10!! The most delicious tacos at affordable prices! I stopped by 4 food trucks before finding El Caminante because everyone else was cash only. Here, I was greeted with a smile while being patient with me to figure out what I wanted to eat. I ordered the order of mini tacos, chicken quesadillas, charros & Mexican cokes....

This place is a must try !!
