First off let me say they get you to go inside with the flashing lightfixtures but be warned that its hot as hell inside, the tables are dirty and the prices are through the roof! I just paid 16 plus dollars for an aqua fresca and churro so they charged me 10 dollars for an aqua fresca that i asked to be put in those round plastic colored top cups but see here is the thing they don't have any straws anywhere that actually fit that cup so i ask and the women behind the counter says no! We don't! And gives me attitude like im just supposed to suck it up so i ask do you have a manager? She says yes ..but doesn't call whoever it may be and she ask me why? With her glaring eyes and her gold or silver teeth so i proceed to take up my complaint with her since shes the one being rude with me unprofessional and unprepared from the start first telling me she cant put a little piece of strawberry in my drink because its in the agua fresca for looks to get people to buy it but not to include in the drink i smiled and said ooh okay huh, I just asked for that drink because it looks to include it but oooook just the strawberry milk and ice part and she said i would have to pay extra for strawberry i declined, further more the picture of the churros on the screen has multiple churros (5 to be exact) but be warned you will only get 2 for 7 dollars and also there is not a skinnier straw for the specialty cup and the top doesn't screw on right it almost knocks your drink over tryna get that top of or put it back on should you decide to get one like me that i paid extra for one and when I tried to specify a color she seemed bothered so thats super weird and at the end of this whole encounter she tells me i could put your drink in a regular cup i said no thats why i paid extra for a specialty cup that you dont carry straws for and it's not my job to just be stiffed and told to deal with it its yalls job to accomadate the customer and insure yall have all your nessesary supplies when selling your items and for me to pay extra and have something incomplete is unacceptable so please forward the information for future reference she said ok but her whole demeanor the whole time was not nice let me tell ya and i wont be going back there ever and wanted to leave an honest review on this bad place so everybody knows they charge you alot for less than average Ice cream, you have to speak to them in Spanish and if your tryna have the whole interaction be in English good luck your gonna be pointing the customer service is lame and the place overall sucks and is super hot 🔥🥵 they didn't have any central air air conditioner on or nothing only a small fan in a corner those orange kind men use for work and it was stationed on the floor its a shame i had such a bad experience so I would sure like to speak to the owner of this place to let them in on some things they have going on in their establishment that are not up to par better yet to anyone seeing this save yourself the trouble and take your money to marble slab creamery or...
Read moreIce cream shops are universally cherished for their ability to bring people together to enjoy a sweet treat. However, recently I had an incredibly disheartening experience at a local ice cream shop that left me appalled. The incident involved a worker who displayed overt racist behavior, tarnishing what should have been a delightful outing. Such incidents highlight the importance of education and fostering inclusivity in our society. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by an employee handling customer orders. However, instead of the warm welcome I expected, I received a uniquely hostile reception from the worker. The worker's disdainful tone and offensive comments towards me made it evident that my skin color played a role in their attitude towards me. This blatant display of racism felt deeply unsettling and offensive, completely sullying what should have been a simple indulgence in frozen treats. The incident at the ice cream shop underscores the urgent need for societal change. In a diverse and interconnected world, such narrow-mindedness has no place. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially from workers who represent an establishment that should prioritize inclusivity and customer satisfaction. It is imperative that businesses and individuals take a proactive approach to addressing and eradicating racism, working towards creating an environment where all individuals are treated with respect and equality, regardless of their background. In conclusion, the racist encounter I experienced at the ice cream shop was deeply distressing and goes against the values of inclusivity and respect that should be embodied by all members of society. We must continually strive for a world free of discrimination and prejudice, embracing diversity, and promoting understanding. It is my earnest hope that incidents like the one I encountered will serve as catalysts for change as we work towards unifying communities and fostering a more tolerant and...
Read moreMe and my family went last night. The food was great but it was disorganized! The woman who took my order was RUDE! She laughed at me as I attempted to order my food in spanish. She only spoke spanish and kept shaking her head as if she couldn't understand when I ordered in english but then laughed as I did the best I could with my limited spanish. It took another lady to take my order but I had to speak up and tell her that I hadn't finished my order, as she walked off shaking her head laughing making my corn in the cup. They treat their customers like Cattle and kept saying "Quien sigue" with attitude without letting me finish. I walked out with less than I had wanted to order since no one seemed patient enough to listen.
((FYI my husband is an Arab and he couldn't understand her. Not everyone who is "Dark" speaks spanish. Sad this ignorant woman thinks this way when apparently they have a business in "Dubai" .... ))
The food was great. But they need to be more organized, and work on their social skills and customer service.
Without your customers, you will not have a job....
