On Thursday July 10th, my husband and I stopped by P Terry’s to support the Austin disaster relief efforts. What we witnessed was nothing short of inspiring people packed inside and out, all coming together for a greater cause. It was a powerful reminder that Texans always show up for one another. No matter the hardship, being a Texan means standing together, lending a hand, and lifting each other up! Despite clear signs of fatigue, the employees carried themselves with remarkable grace, professionalism, and unwavering dedication. The cooks and food preparers worked diligently and with great care to ensure that every meal was freshly made and of exceptional quality. The entire team operated with impressive efficiency, delivering each order promptly without ever compromising attention to detail. Most notably, they greeted every guest with genuine warmth and kindness, their smiles reflecting a deep commitment to hospitality even in the most challenging moments. Their tireless efforts and heartfelt service did not go unnoticed! Each member of the team embodied the true spirit of dedication and compassion, and their hard work was sincerely appreciated by everyone!!! There was one incredible employee who truly stood out to me though I didn’t catch her name, her impact was unforgettable! She made heartfelt announcements that not only kept us informed about how much was being raised, but also uplifted the entire crowd! Each time she spoke, the energy in the stand shifted and people clapped, cheered, and came together in such a joyful way! P Terry’s has earned a special place in our hearts, and we’re deeply grateful to everyone who made the experience so memorable!! P Terry’s has also demonstrated extraordinary compassion and community spirit by generously donating 100% of their profits to support the Austin disaster relief efforts. This selfless commitment reflects the true spirit of being Texas Strong resilient, united, and unwavering love. Their dedication to giving back during such a challenging time speaks volumes about their values and their deep connection to the community they serve. Acts of kindness like this not only provide critical assistance to those affected but also inspire hope and strength throughout the region. Read moreThere were missing items from our order and we were charged for them (Order # DT1 — 18), and we didn’t find out until we got home. This makes us really unhappy.
Burger tasted good, but not quite as good as In-N-Out’s in my opinion. Size was fine for the price, but you could have options for larger sizes. Fries were ok. The burger was smashed together and the fries were smashed into a single greasy bundle.
This place could do better from a management perspective. I think what’s missing here is quality control.
Have a descriptive step-by-step process from the time an order starts until it is in the hands of the customer.
Staff needs to ensure the food is cooked properly, and that the presentation looks right. If not, toss it and do it over.
Don’t forget to give the customer every item they’re charged for. The receipt is stickered to the bag; use that same receipt to look and verify all items.
The more you do these things, the faster you’ll get with these improvements on quality.
Bonus, here’s how you can improve your taste: Aside from guaranteeing you’re using fresh ingredients and keeping your grill & fryers clean (and not leaving fries on the bottom to catch grease without rotating them), designate someone to work on improving your product. Get creative with using different ingredients to improve taste. This will take you a long way.
This was our first time eating here. If we’re compensated for the missing items, we’ll...
Read moreThis is the worst food and service. Don't waste your time or money. I thought we ordered a simple, straight forward order. 2 Veggie burger Lettuce wraps with grilled onions and Pickles, 2 fries, 2 banana breads. Got our order. No grilled onions. Pickles thrown on 1 side of a super oily, soggy patty with some greasy fry pieces. Went back through the drive through to get the Onions. Drove all the way home. Could not eat the veggie burger or fries. So I went to eat the banana bread. Only they forgot to give us the 2 banana breads. So I called to speak to the manager about the missing food. "Haley". She remembered our order - not hard since there was no one else there. Proceeded to tell me that she didn't remember us ordering banana bread and that she didn't charge us for it. I insisted that she add up the total for 2 burgers and 2 fries - she said it would be $13.45. Of course we were charged $17.45 at which point she said we could come in tomorrow and pick up the banana bread. No apology. So basically, I paid $17.45 for some food/garbage I had to throw away since it was inedible and I am supposedly going to receive my banana bread when I drive back into San Antonio and pick it up. Like that's...
