Love the food.. we always get a large egg drop soup, feeds all four of us, then order 2-3 plates to share amongst us. Our last experience was great w our server, she was so sweet, provided great suggestions for our desired requests, and was attentive throughout our meal. However once she dropped the bill and we paid she promptly forgot all about us and our request for to-go MANGO tea. We watched her go from table to table without a single glance in our direction, though we tried to flag her over.. she never brought our to-go teas. We were patient and waited for iver 15mins, giving her time since two more tables were seated in her section. So we asked another server for just an empty to-go cup so I could pour my FULL MANGO tea in amd we could leave... our "sweet" server then returns with an MAJOR attitude, and in one fellswoop took my MANGO tea and replaced it with a full to-go cup of REGULAR tea and was gone just as fast! I was SOOOO disappointed! And regretted the larger tip we gave her for her previously great service during dinner! I LOVE the MANGO tea! And when I say disappointed, it was over the discovery of plain regular tea instead if the mango..MANGO... as I had already left when I discovered it! I ALWAYS take a to-go cup if MANGO tea with me so I can continue to enjoy it long after my meal is over! WHAT A LET DOWN! And a slap in the face with that attitude she came with because another server had to tell her that we were still waiting for our to-go tea! I would have preferred he just bring me the empty cup I requested, that way she could have saved face, AND I would have been able to keep my MANGO tea, and it not be waisted and thrown out like she did! I have always lived eating here, and that will not change. But the hospitality of folks is becoming something that most servers seem to know NOTHING about! Serving is a gift. It is a privilege to serve your fellow man, a time to share love and generosity. AND it us also the JOB that this individual CHOSE to do. So WHY the attitudes and disdain in fulfilling the requests of the people you CHOSE to work for? And yes, the people you are serving are ALSO who you work for. I am paying you part of your EARNED wages for the SERVICE you are providing. It is called HOSPITALITY for a reason. And something that has become a lost ART to MOST who "serve" in the industry. I have been on the other side of the table MANY times in my life, and I am well aware of the stresses and conditions, as well as the hard work one has to do in order to earn a good wage/living. I am one of those patrons who will keep in mind that folks have "bad" days, and even bad patrons who are rude and disrespectful towards their servers. I am also NOT that way towards someone who is serving me. I appreciate their service, and value being waited upon, it is both a blessing and a privilege to be served. So I am kind and respectful; I always say Please and Thank You, and I even stack my dishes and trash to make it neat, and easier for my server.. and I make sure I let my servers know how much I appreciate what they are doing throughout my meal. So it us very disheartening when my respect is trampled upon by the person who CHOSE to be a server. To me their CHOICE is an automatic agreement that they will do their very best to provide great service AND a great experience. And they WILL be rewarded for their great service with my tip and my gratitude. I also like to tell managers of my great experience and great service, and leave a good recommendation for that particular server, and many times we will become a regular and request them again upon our next visit(s). We were in a hurry to be somewhere else this day.. so we left without recommendation, or complaint.. amd I do not remember her name at this time, or I would definitely include it in this review. We did, however, sit close the restrooms, right by the server kiosk along the piller by...
Read moreBEWARE OF THE MANAGER!! My Husband and I went out to eat for the first time with our baby, we were celebrating him being cleared at his follow up appointment from the NICU and being able to have his first outing. we live 2 hours away from San Antonio so it was a big deal for us going out and getting Chinese food before heading back home. Our server Gabriel was amazing! The hostess were sweet and the food was amazing! We live in a rural area where going out to eat isnt really an option besides hunts brother pizza at the gas station. When we came in we were greeted by the two girls in the front and was sat instantly the baby was asleep in his car seat so I asked for a high chair that way we didn’t have to wake him as it was a long day for him. The hostess told us that we couldn’t get one at the booths. I thought it was strange but whatever. I just put his car seat on the floor sideways up against the table so it was out of the walkway. our server came to the table got our drink order and asked if we would like a koala Carrie to put the car seat in that way I could lay him back in it and let him finish his nap and eat. Absolutely that’s what any good server/ restaurant would do. So tell me why the manager at the end of our meal when we were paying is now giving our server hell about the koala carrier being at our table!? It was in no way in the way of anyone or in the middle of the walk way the holder is the same size as the car seat and it’s all the way up against the booth, so it would have been no different than me setting my car seat on the floor. He then proceeded to go to the front and reamed the hostess. I was very embarrassed and felt so bad that this was being said in front of the dinner rush, when all Gabriel was trying to do was make or visit easier with our baby. We apologize to Gabriel before leaving we felt bad about the way his manager was treating him. We are first time parents trying to navigate eating out. I don’t think this situation was handled properly and someone needs to say something to the FOH manager his name was Aldo, (I think that’s how you spell it). just beware that if you go to this P.F.changs and have a baby with you, a highchair at the booths is a problem and the manager is rude to his co-workers, This isn’t the first time...
Read moreMy wife and I came in for lunch on a Sunday around 11:40 in the morning. It wasn’t too busy, which made for a relaxed dining experience. We were seated quickly and had the pleasure of being served by Ashli, who was friendly, attentive, and consistently on point throughout the meal.
One thing we noticed right away was that the lunch menu is back. According to the server, it returned about a month ago and is available every day of the week, including Sunday. That’s a nice option, especially when you're looking for a solid meal without going overboard.
My wife ordered one of the summer drinks, a red sangria made with merlot, vodka, orange curaçao, pomegranate, and lemon. It was light, crisp, and refreshing. The alcohol was well-balanced and didn’t overpower the flavors.
The food came out fast and everything was served hot. We started with the egg drop soup, which was flavorful without being too salty or overly eggy. It had a clean, comforting taste.
We shared the northern style ribs. They appeared to be deep fried with a dry rub rather than being covered in sauce. The texture was crispy and the flavor was bold without being too heavy.
For her main dish, my wife ordered the chicken lettuce wraps from the lunch menu. The portion size was generous and could easily have passed for a full entrée. It could have used a few more lettuce leaves, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the water chestnuts added a satisfying crunch.
I went with the Mongolian beef lunch. It came with white rice by default, but you can also choose brown rice, fried rice, or lo mein for an additional charge. The beef was tender and the sauce had a great balance of sweetness and savory depth. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.
Overall, it was a great experience. Ashli provided excellent service, and the food was fast, hot, and satisfying. With the return of the daily lunch menu and the consistent quality of both the food and the service, we’ll...
