I had an online order that I needed to return but the Nordstrom system must not have worked correctly and did not update me when my order was on the way as it usually does. I contacted support (who was amazingly helpful), told me to call the store later that day to check if they had my order as it was set to be delivered. I called the store 5 hours later, I explained my situation and the person who answered told me I would need to wait until I have an email from Nordstrom. I had already explained to her the site was not updating me properly, as it normally does, and didn't event tell me if my items were en route. I would have assumed that she would have either transferred me or asked for my order number to see if someone could check. Coming from an avid Nordstrom shopper I am very familiar with the "Nordstrom Way" and have always loved their customer service, and was kind of stunned she was not offering any help. I then asked her myself "so are you not able to transfer me to someone who can assist in looking for my package or looking up the package yourself? " she said, "I can't right now we have a long line so you would have to sit on hold for a long time until someone can help you." Which prompted me to ask, "so your working by yourself in the entire store?" since she made it sound as if she had no help, she then put me on hold... I spoke with another person who was of zero help and transferred me to a manager, the manager that day was very nice (Dec. 15th was the day I called), she willingly searched and took my info down and said she would call me back later that day. I said okay, and was very pleased.
Fast forward to Dec. 20th, I have not received my "order ready" email as I usually do from Nordstrom, and had not received a callback. I finally decided to call the store once more, and a woman by the name of Ashley answered. I explained the situation and how I was waiting on a call back from a manager since Thursday. Her response? "Well ma'am it is the holidays and we are busy so you can't expect us to actually call back". I was transferred to CJ who processed my order willingly and professionally.
I probably won't shop at Nordstrom any time soon again, as this whole experience has been awful and left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand this occurring at Target, Walmart, or another basic department store, but for Nordstrom? This is very unprofessional and...

It features typical products from Nordstrom at a reduced price. It carries clothing for men, women and children as well as products such as high-end luggage and cosmetics.
I particularly like to purchase men's shoes on the 2nd floor. I've purchased two pair of Rockports, which are often recommended by podiatrists as the best of the best for feet. Shoes are often at the Rack usually for a small, barely noticeable smudge which nobody would notice even without a little first aid. The savings can be 50%. Brown shoes are popular now, and I featured the pair I bought today.
As I was checking out, I was asked by the cashier if my phone number was on account. I was never asked that question before, and apparently Nordstrom Rack now has a points loyalty program going. If only they had it when I first started...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place. I usually shop at this location and every time I come I love the service. However, the last time that I was here which was yesterday (02/16/2022) I left the store super disappointed. While I was paying, a girl employee asked the cashier who was helping me question, which is fine you know, I get it. Questions are always going to be asked, that’s not the problem. The problem was that a tall lady, I’m assuming manager, came out of no where yelling at the girl who asked the question to have the conversation somewhere else. It was so unprofessional. I felt uncomfortable. Couldn’t this have waited until the I, the customer, was gone?? If this lady was a manager or supervisor, then Nordstrom Rack seriously needs to reconsider who they have as a leading role. I felt embarrassed for the poor girl.
