Perfect Tender Hot Chicken — Restaurant in San Antonio

The only reason this got 3 stars is because of how nice the guy was who took the order. Hope he’s recognized for his empathetic nature.

If it weren’t for the hidden pricing it would have gotten * five stars

I ordered a 3 piece 15.00 (receipt showed 21) and a 2 piece 11.00(receipt showed $16)for my boy with a cheese stick $12.00 and it came out to over $50. With a to go tip $60. I was confused of why it was way above what the price said and the guy kept trying to explain but it wasn’t making sense to me. Then I finally saw what he was talking about. When you use your binoculars and look at the menu it says 15.99 for a 3 piece AND in VERY tiny numbers below the 3 piece meal you will see the $20.00 price tag; the same with the 2 piece. The owner is wrong and should make it bigger or just change the price to say $21.00 for a 3 piece meal. And $16 for a 2 piece But of course that doesn’t look right to the San Antonio consumer. I can understand if this was for a kid fundraiser for school or sports with the high price but it’s not. The food was good btw but not almost $30.00 for a 3 piece tender meal good. That means for 3 strips with no fries or drink, it’s $16.00. If going on a date, Make sure you really love the person you’re taking here before spending this kind of Bohanans money. I’ll never complain about Pete’s Chicken pricing after this experience.

You can also get regular Cheeto cheese stick or hot Cheetos and there’s an up charge for hot Cheetos which I don’t understand when both bags of Cheetos cost the same. Maybe They crush different ?

Crinkle fries are really good and they don’t skimp on pickles for all you pickle lovers. Strips are pretty good size. I still would recommend try it because you might think the price is worth it if you’re a Nashville Hot Lover and cheese stick...

Awful place ! People are extremely rude ! We waited over an hour food and it was wrong when we finally got served ! They Said that Sa food posted them they can’t keep up ! Don’t waste your time ! The waitress came back to argue with us and told us oh well about us waiting!! When we asked for a refund she said no then we were finally given one before we left! Extremely disappointed!!! Perfect example how not every one deserves to get posted !! Also rude waitress that said oh well was the owner mother ! So if anyone get her as their server and she’s rude he will be siding with her and sadly y'all experience will just like ours ! My husband and I are both veterans and have so much respect when talking towards people and this was just Pitiful to see service being offered like this !

Had seen an ad on instagram for this restaurant, me loving tenders and fries decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant/bar you are met with the bar right in front, some arcade games to the left and seating to the right. We were immediately greeted by staff and there wasn’t a big wait to be seated. There were many tvs on with different things to watch. The staff had music playing which were awesome tunes as well.

When it came to the food, the biggest mozzarella stick in Texas did not disappoint!! You have to try it! We got the mozzarella trio appetizer that came with fried pickles and mushrooms. The pickles were delicious and probably my most favorite! Very flavoring and delish!!! I ordered the 3 tenders, 2 medium and 1 hot, super tender and juicy tenders! The flavor was great and tasted delicious! The spices were also right on and full of flavor!! My kiddo got the waffles and chicken, the waffles were freakin amazing!!! The best waffles I have ever tried!!! My wife got the loaded fries and those also did not disappoint!!!

Only downside to bar, they did not know what a red beer was nor were able to make it. My wife also requested cerveza cubano which they also did not make. The bar appears to be limited however the food definitely made up for it.

Overall, if you’re into chicken, tenders, fries, and waffles you definitely should give this place a shot!! Don’t forget to get the giant...
