Was very excited to find an entirely vegan and gluten-free spot in San Antonio! And everything is air-fried, too?! My partner is gluten-free and I’ve felt bad being able to eat all this food she can’t try, but this place’s menu has everything your heart could desire, just minus gluten. She got a honee-butter chicken sammy with fancy fries, I got their Philly with fancy fries, and we shared a single pancake and kids order of chicken tenders. We were bummed they were out of the jalapeño mac and cheese. We sought out items we couldn’t normally find at the vegan places we eat at. My expectations were low in the breads and breaded chicken, but wow, none of this tasted gluten-free, and I’ve been trying to cook this way for the past year. Everything was so incredibly flavorful, their cheese was fantastic, the fried chicken was well seasoned and crispy, the pancake was perfect, and the fancy fries blew our minds. She loved her sandwich. It sucked to not get any syrup with the pancake, and we didn’t get the right sauces that we ordered, but nothing really needed any enhancing, anyway. People are right about the prices, they’re pretty hefty, but when you find such a packed menu of classic junk food meals that are simultaneously plant-based, gluten-free, and not deep-fried, you should expect to pay a little more. In my opinion, the extra buck is well worth it to eat what is probably the healthiest junk food you’ll find anywhere.

EDIT: Changed by rating cause their acai bowl is better than the tropical cafe next to HEB bulverde/1604 Food is good and fruit tastes fresh. Came out in a quick 10 min. Never had an acai bowl but I liked it and it felt healthy. Customer service is good but they seem like they're struggling to retain staff. Atmosphere is cute and on theme for the outside but feels like it could use a tad more soul, similiar to the summer moon coffee kinda has decor and interesting pieces inside or the coffee crush place off bulverde and 1604. Off-putting to see the place constantly empty but based on reviews and prices I can see why. I don't think there is a big enough client base here for basically what comes across as vegan fast food. Might bring in more people if you physically market your atmosphere more as a studying place, but then people might be bummed about your no outside food and drink policy. I hope this place sticks around. Even though I shouldn't be spending 12 dollars on a smoothie bowl, its good food at least, better then spending $12 on a mcdonalds combo meal, which is basically what it comes out to nowaways anyways. Ah and it would be nice to find a way to communicate to customers that yall arent printing receipes so I didn't end up selecting the print option and then realize that yall don't print them until I read reviews after I sat down. All in all will probably come back.

There are few vegan restaurants in San Antonio, so I'm glad to see this one! The restaurant itself isn't very large. Order at the front counter. It feels like the restaurant may be short staffed. The interior is cute, with careful effort put into decor. There's a sign saying that all the disposable materials are recycled or composted. I don't know if that's true, but I hope that it is. I feel like they could probably make a little more effort to reduce waste and be sustainable. But hey, still better than most restaurants. I tried the nachos. They were fine. Not good as real nachos, but an acceptable diversion. I strongly encourage trying the "fried chick'n." Turns out that oyster mushrooms, breaded and fried, are a surprisingly decent substitute for chicken. The texture and grain are similar, although this "fried chick'n" isn't nearly as oily, and the stems of the mushrooms get tough. The menu is extensive, definitely lots to try.

Why open up a restaurant in this location when you know well that the price for location is beyond your expectations! Your business wasn’t thinking about the customers but high end and boujee area! Your go fund me is so uncalled for when knowingly that you were too expensive for the predicament you put yourself into. Do not take out on your customers. Someone should have done their research prior to! My daughter stopped going for that reason! I would suggest that you move to an area where you don’t have to take from your customers for a mistake you made! Change your menu and prices so that it will suit THEM! I don’t need to go to some FANCY building to have vegan options! We are all dealing with high prices as well! So be considerate! Improvise a new strategy/plan for Plantology, think of something out of the box! Don’t go down as the business whose last resort was to give up! Fight for your business and show the customers you can get out of it on your own! Bring in another business’ to your establishment, you’d be surprised how many would love to work with you! Maybe PETA could help out! Fight damn it fight! Oh and most importantly, LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! I read some of your other reviews! Customer service is your number one priority! If you are out of stock on a particular item, customer doesn’t want to hear, “ no, we don’t have it! Take it off the menu! You might want to find some volunteers that will be willing to help out at your...
