It's rather disappointing when you arrive at this establishment only to find the door locked, sign on door saying sold out of tamales. The day I drove there was not only disappointing but the "large big lite skinned heavy set lady" was seen by 11 customers as myself laughing at us bcuz we could not go in or purchase the tamales, as God is my witness..it made me sad to see this transition happening right in front of us with the way she laughed at us.. I understand businesses do sell out but when you have an employee mocking, laughing, making fun of us consumers, with 2 men in there seeing what she was doing to us hiding behind the register laughing. This Tortillera LA Grande location on Pleasanton Rd near Bill Miller's off Southcross Rd and Pleasanton Rd. Too bad the owners of these several locations don't know how this "large big heavy set lady" is making their businesses not only look bad for the owners but also shows how unappreciative that lady doesn't seem to care if she's reported or not for her actions acting like a minor hiding behind the register laughing at us. Just to let you know to the owners, you have lost a lot of business bcuz we all were able to see how some of your employees act with customers. If we don't go to your business, how else would you be able to pay your employees without us customers showing up to your establishment? I'm literally done with your business, this is why I'm making sure other consumers not waste their TIME AND MONEY at your business EVER AGAIN! Give thanks to the "large heavy set lady "that made fun of us by laughing at us. Done. My new home cooking Delicious food Molino! ย ย ย Read moreAfter over 10years of riding by this small molina I got off to get a hot off the grill corn tortilla. Informed fresh batch only on Thursday. Flour made elsewhere but server said quality very good. Knowing I had time to eat at busstop I ordered two barbacoa tacos. Corn tortillas small but you get two. Flour much bigger and yes very big, Each taco was overfilled with barbacoa which was little dry for my taste but very good. Two tacos by my guesstimation had well over half pound of meat. So I didn't finish on street. Great service. Lot information. Affordable prices. Reality is how much businesses like this have succumbed to times. Back in day we would drive around SA and be amazed by booming business of mass producing Hispanic food products which were so good. That was and is...
ย ย ย Read moreI tried calling this location on December 23rd and 24th but they don't answer their phones. It's as if they refuse to pick up the phone. I was calling to ask to see if they still had tamales available before driving over there. They never answered the phone. So come Christmas Eve, I went to this location and there were signs on the door that said "No tamales." They only had chicharrones of all sizes and buenuelos available. I gave this business a 3 star rating only because their tamales are actually good and fresh (usually). The staff and employees could use retraining with their ethics, hospitality and customer service. I've been a customer here for a couple of years now. Next time I'll know to buy them in advance before...
