I’m in San Antonio staying at an Airbnb while my partner recuperates in ICU after open heart surgery. He had a tough day so this day has been stressful to say the least. Have been up since 3am and am completely exhausted so decided to stop by Raising Cane’s after leaving the hospital at 9:45pm to pick up some dinner. First, I get in the outside drive through lane and sit behind a car while 4 vehicles pass through the inside lane. The lady in the car in front of me kept yelling “hello” but there was no answer. I decided to pull around her and go inside since I assumed the speaker wasn’t working. Just as I get out of line I hear the man on the speaker say “I’m sorry, are you wanting to order?” Frustration beyond belief. I park and go inside and order a 3 piece with no drink and extra sauce, pay with cash, and am handed a cup for a drink. I told the girl I didn’t order a drink and she said “Oh, I’m sorry, I charged you for one” and proceeded to turn around and work on other orders. I was flabbergasted. Instead of making her refund my money, I just took the cup and filled it with a drink I didn’t want. Remember, I was beyond tired from no sleep and the stress from the day. I didn’t have the energy. I got my order and went to the Airbnb and find that my fries are cold and flimsy and my chicken fingers are tough. Never had tough fingers from any of the other Raising Cane’s before - they’ve always been tender and juicy. They went in the trash. Moral of the story - don’t expect much by way of customer service nor food quality at the Raising Cane’s at 106 St. Cloud in San Antonio. So very...
Read moreCame with my family to come eat for dinner. Outside look okay so we walked in and there was enough tables to sit down. Service at the counter was very good. Counter lady was very nice and polite. The restaurant was very interesting. Tables were clean for was nice and clean. There's a section for refills on soda and tea but not lemonade. Never got to the restrooms. Parking lot semi small but there's tables to sit outside. There's about maybe two or three handicap spots right in the front by the door. Overall experience was very interesting and nice, quiet, and not so noisy even though at one point there were a lot of people. People were coming in walking in and picking up orders and the driveway was packed. This was around 6:00 in the evening just imagine if it was earlier in the afternoon it might be more packed. Interesting with the glass disco balls in the center of the restaurant. Give this place one thumbs up. For my taste I still considered...
Read moreEverything was going good until the cone that was left tipped over that wasn’t visible from my car since I drive a SUV got stuck under my vehicle and Alex just stood there without helping or saying anything watching with the girl from the drive thru window. The girl who took my order rushed over after seeing me struggle and helped me as I had my pregnant self on my hands and knees pulling the cone out from under my car. She apologized saying it wasn’t my fault that it was because the cone was tipped over. You’d think Alex could have picked it up since his job is standing right there handing food. He could of at least helped but I guess now a days some employees think the bare minimum is appropriate to just watch as the pregnant woman is on her hands and knees getting a cone that should have been picked up as soon as it fell in the first place out from...
