Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in San Antonio

I’ve gone to this Schlotzsky’s for a while now, but my experience tonight, specifically, is fueling this review. I feel as though I must take time to praise LINDSEY, who was working the drive thru today when I dropped by to pick up food after work. She greeted me, at the window, with a smile. After returning with my change, she proceeded to ask, “How is your day going so far?” The genuine nature of her voice could not be mistaken for anything but. I responded, we chatted about the weather, she offered me my cookie first 😍, I got my food, & was on my way. This may sound like a simple transaction, however, often I find drive thru attendants to be almost difficult to deal with. Most seem to emanate an utter disdain for everyone and thing around them. I worked at Sonic for five years and have been in the service industry for seven, that being said, I completely understand this disdain AND I hope the higher ups at this Schlotzsky’s appreciate LINDSEY’S beautifully genuine interpersonal skills & obvious...

As Schlotzsky's lovers, we were pleased to hear that we were having one put in near our house since the closest one to us before was 20 minutes away. We even showed up for the grand opening! From day one this particular Schlotzskys has been the worst we have ever been to (Interstate Highway 10, San Antonio, TX 78257). The food is not as good as other Schlotzskys, the place is always dirty and due to the nail salon next door you get an intoxicating smell while you try to eat. The staff is always sitting around having conversations with what seems to be friends that come to visit, they are rude, and they have a manager (I believe his name is michael) who is very rude to his employees and customers. We have spoken to multiple people who have worked at this particular location and literally quite just because of this one manager. This specific location is such a bad rep on the company.
