Summer Moon Coffee — Restaurant in San Antonio

This review is for my fellow decaf peeps! The coffee is amazing, I’ll say that. However.. the girl at the drive thru on 6/5 around 4:45pm was incredibly snotty and rude. I ordered my drink as half decaf with an extra shot of decaf (as I do almost every morning) bc I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine. It gives me terrible physical symptoms and I’ve been instructed by a doctor to have very little caffeine, hence the decaf. I got through half of my drink before my heart started racing like crazy so I threw it away but it was already too late.. the symptoms lasted for HOURS. I can always tell when coffee is fully caffeinated. It’s safe to assume all of the shots were caffeinated as I’ve NEVER had this reaction any other time I’ve gotten coffee from here. When people ask for DECAF, there is a legit reason for it, and sometimes it’s medically related. Maybe if this girl hadn’t been so snotty and miserable, she would have heard decaf. Never again. I just found this play a little over a week ago and have already been back 3 times even though the location is COMPLETELY out of my way. The staff is extremely friendly, and are happy to answer any questions you have about their coffee. When I went to Summer Moon the first time, they offered to let me taste their "moon milk", which is one of the special things they do here and it was FANTASTIC. I typically don't like my coffee too sweet, but the Summer Moon Latte was the PERFECT amount of sweetness. Going to be honest, the coffee tastes more like milk than coffee the creamer they use overpowers their coffee and my stomach has been hurting everytime i have had their coffee lately..

I will also say that a few weeks back my husband had gone in to order an iced coffee and he noticed it tasted off but wasn't quite sure if it was his tastebuds acting up, when he arrived home i had a sip and i asked him why he was drinking rotten coffee! The creamer they had used was expired making the coffee taste off. When he went back to tell them they did not offer to correct the order or give him his money back. They said they dont always know when the creamer goes bad... why is this not...
