Seazar's Fine Wine & Spirits — Restaurant in San Antonio

Seazar’s Fine Wine & Spirits is hands-down the best spot in San Antonio for bourbon hunters. Their selection is unmatched, and they consistently have bottles you just won’t find at Total Wine or Spec’s. What I really appreciate is that they put the “good stuff” right on the shelf, so everyone has a fair shot at allocated bottles without needing to be in some top-tier loyalty program.

The one drawback—and the reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars—is pricing on allocated bourbon. Seazar’s does price those bottles at secondary levels, and in many cases they’re on the higher end compared to other stores in town. I completely understand the “get what you can for your inventory” approach, but it does take away from the thrill of scoring something rare. I would bump up the rating if their prices were on the lower end or just below the secondary pricing mark.

That said, the store is in a great central location in Alamo Heights, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. If you’re serious about bourbon (or just want a fantastic wine & spirits selection), Seazar’s is absolutely...

The employees at this location are liars and are not up front with you about what they have on hand . - Multiple sister stores sent me to that location about product they said they had in stock. Once I arrived the 2 employees there told me they do not have nor carry any of what I asked about , Only to find out from another store that they indeed had in excess of 30 bottles In stock that they would not disclose.

-i completely understand if they are saving all those bottles for someone else , but at least please be upfront and honest about it instead of lying to...

I came here seeking help for a "wine emergency," as I needed something good to help my girl with her poetically horrible week. The only thing I knew about wine was the difference between red and white. When I asked the gentlemen there for help, not only did they work with me in a warm and professional matter, they knew just what I needed! She loved the choices. Therefore, while I can't guarantee you the bottom line lowest price by shopping here, what you will find is a place to stoke your passion for wine, be it new or old....
