The cashier tall Caucasian with curly hair kicked me out after coming up to me at 7:59 to tell me they were closing at 8pm. I asked him if he was kicking me out because I planned to order my Uber later as their hours are 10pm online. He said no and but was basically telling me to wait outside. 3 other people were waiting for their orders. My Uber is 4 minutes away now and the three people waiting for the rest of their orders walk out at 8:11pm. He then walks up to me and says “I’m kicking you out now.” When I told him my Uber was 3 minutes away he said I would have to wait outside on the patio. I told him as nicely as I could that I would be writing a review and that it’s wrong that you treat paying customers like that. It’s cold outside and this is a very ghetto area. I didn’t feel safe sitting outside long after the sun has set. If I drove there I would have obviously just drove away at 8pm. I worked for Starbucks for over a year and have been in customer service for over 10 years. I’m disgusted with how I was treated today. I’m noticing most counter serve restaurants these days in San Antonio involve staff closing the dining room early and rudely kicking people out. Not to mention the bathroom had toilet tissue all over the floor. I definitely promise you I will never be back here. Starbucks isn’t like it was when I was a barista. The brand is taking a HUGE hit. The older I get the stronger I feel about spending my money where I feel welcomed, valued, and respected. He even tried to argue with me. I just said thank you bye and walked out to wait for my Uber. Someone who really valued their customers would have allowed me to wait for my Uber as I am obviously a paying customer and a woman by myself on top of that and it is night time. I have worked restaurants, other coffee shops, gas stations, country clubs, banquets, and for banks. You do NOT treat people like that. If I was unruly, disrespectful, messing up the bathroom, being loud, was camping out etc then I would get it. Starbucks used to really be a third place. A place for me to relax and study for school especially in Houston. I’m extremely disappointed and disgusted. Will be finding another cafe and brand...

Can not even understand the rudeness of the customer service I received at the Starbucks located at:
1935 SW Military Dr Suite 105, San Antonio, TX 78221
Simple order of 2 tall chocolate chip Frappuccino in a grand cup, for extra whip, and a tall ice coffee in a grande! Simple order I know.
Well the guy barista, did not have a name tag so I couldn't get it. While reading the tags for order he questioned why I asked for grade cups explained to him for extra whip then rudely responsed with an attitude "well I'm only give you a tall" and I was like ok that's what I ordered. Then same thing with the ice coffee I always ask for a tall in a grand cup no matter the Starbucks I go, he literally only filled the cup to the first line, and usually it's about to the 2nd or slightly above the 2nd. What really took the situation to the next level is he went to the other employee and made comments about my boys and I which is very unprofessional and very uncalled for. I asked for a refill on the ice coffee and literally did the same thing.
I am glad I was only passing through while on a business trip and I will not have to visit this...
Read moreThis is my first time writing a google review but I just HAD to for the AMAZING customer service I received. I even called the store to tell them how well I was treated. Sure- the drive thru was a bit crazy, but the sweet lady at the window was calm, sweet, collected and patient. When I ordered she thanked me for stating my order clearly. How sweet was that? I asked if she could write a custom message on the cup as I was delivering it to one of my honor-roll students and so I had her sign it “Ms. Rosen”. She wrote the message on the cup and said “ok, you can pull up Ms. Rosen”. Like how sweet is that! That personal touch is something you can’t “train” an employee to have. When I got to the window she was sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful and even complimented my dedication to my students. I honestly don’t frequent Starbucks THAT much, but this location and its incredible employees have made a return customer out of me. What a fantastic store with fantastic people! That’s how...
