I've been seeing chatter about Stuffed for a while and decided to give it a shot on a Sunday morning. The breakfast burritos were what really caught my eye, and I wanted to give them a try, but, they stop serving breakfast at 10 am, so on a lazy Sunday you might miss them as I did. I assumed being only open from 7am to 3pm they'd have all day breakfast, but, nope.

We pivoted from our breakfast plans and got two kids meals and three Cali Twists (2 steak, 1 chicken). Price with 15% tip was ~$65. Pretty expensive when compared to our usual Sunday lunch spots. The atmosphere was super cool and shortly after 11am it rapidly filled up with bundles of people largely dressed in a boho/skater motif that fit the eclectic atmosphere of the restaurant nicely.

As for the food, it was good. The meat + cheese + fries bundled in a tortilla concept is nice. Certainly kid friendly. Flavors were good, though the tortilla to ingredient ratio is 180° opposite of a fully stuffed burrito elsewhere. The Stuffed burritos have a nearly 50/50 split of tortilla / ingredients ratio instead of a stretched thin tortilla barely containing it's contents. The photos they have for advertising showed filled to bursting tortillas and as you can see in my photos, the tortilla is equal to and perhaps larger than the meat inside. While I felt like I got enough food, the $13 per burrito pricetag and bold yet unmet claims posited by the name "Stuffed" largely made the experience fall flat. That and 60% of the fountain sodas were out or non functional.

I would definitely try it again for the breakfast burrito I never got, but, I don't think we'll be back for lunch as a...

Seeing that there was a place that made California Style Burritos was like a breath of fresh air! Being from CA, it was hard to find a place that did a normal burrito right… but a CA Burrito? I thought would be near impossible to find outside of California.

Everything about it was absolute perfection, and everything I missed about burritos back home. The meat was cooked perfectly, and it lives up to its name… this was stuffed! You can eat half of one and be content for the rest of the day then have the other half as leftovers.

The tomatillo salsa was delicious, and a refreshing addition to the burrito.

My only complaint is regarding the cleanliness of the restaurant. A lot of the tables were not wiped down, and when I went to go to the restroom to wash my hands… I immediately walked out because it was not clean. Maybe it was just that day, but it certainly seemed like there were plenty of employees to help tidy up. I know it also does not help when grown adults who dine in can’t even pick up after themselves. We resorted to eating outside in the heat because no tables were clean.

The people working weren't the most friendliest, but enough to offer to make sure they our food looked good and made sure to let us know if we neede anything else.

Although it doesn’t deter us from returning, I think next time we may just grab...

So I saw pictures of the food and thought give it a try. Cashier is fine saw him mopping and cleaning and I guess moving or fixing a chair. Place is clean and music and vibe is OK. I got the Philly cheese steak and a fish taco, drink not included so I bought a drink separately. Fish taco is OK, see a small tortilla with a wedge of fried fish with their Chipotle sauce I think, cabbage mix and a thing of lime. Dude not bad, not to sure if they got the fish from sysco or Sam's down the strip or something. The Philly cheese steak was really hard to finish. There were a lot of fries in it, the amount of meat with the onion and peppers and queso is questionable. My main personal gripe is the fries, my confusion is why are there fries in the burrito? I can see they went with a potato as a filler instead of rice but it doesn't make sense taste wise. I notice the fries are seasoned which is not bed per say, I just think that it should be a side item and not inside and use rice in my opinion, also with fries inside the buritto a lot of the oil pool downwards that mixes with the other fats and can see using a lot of napkins and maybe restroom sink to clean the hands. Would I personally come back again? It's hard to tell too a no. Not saying it's a bad place or anything, other people would like it's just not for me...
