Consistently Disappointing – Avoid This Location
After multiple disappointing visits, I’m no longer recommending this location. We've encountered numerous issues, including incorrect orders, menu items being unavailable one week and then available the next, and unprofessional behavior from staff. What stood out the most was tonight’s experience, which has pushed us to stop returning altogether.
We arrived at 7:35 PM, just before closing, only to find the door with a lock on it and the lights off, making it look from the outside as if they were closed despite the sign clearly stating the location should be open until 8 PM. Upon trying the door I was able to enter. When I inquired with the staff member, he informed me that they had changed their hours, contradicting the sign on the door. When I asked if the sign was incorrect, he stated that it was, and with an unwelcome tone, offered to take my order reluctantly, despite the fact they were allegedly closed. He gave conflicting responses about their new hours and even changed his name multiple times when asked for it (G to James back to G) . His rude and dismissive attitude made it clear they were just trying to close early and didn’t want to serve any more customers. And it was disappointing to see no one in the back, including the person washing dishes (whose name I know was Phil/Philip because G/James asked him to answer his cell phone as I was talking ) address the situation. Once I started asking for their names the attitude did change slightly and he offered to take my order. another couple drove up after us and they saw us telling them and did go inside and order. I took pictures to show the lights off, etc., as we were driving off which was 10 min after we had initially arrived.
After this experience, we’ve decided to make the extra drive to the Rim location, where the service has consistently been better. It’s unfortunate because this location could offer so much more, but the ongoing issues with service, communication, and staff behavior are simply too much to overlook.
Unless you don’t mind inconsistent service and a lack of professionalism, I’d suggest...
Read moreI went in on 12/29 around 4pm and the boy helping us out at the counter wearing glasses scoffed when I asked if student discount is still offered, then replied no. I had ordered 2 bowls, and he proceeds to make the bowl however, wearing no gloves, after I seen him cough into his hand, pick up a dirty receipt off the floor, and rub his hands through his hair. I asked if he’s supposed to be wearing gloves, and he said “it’s optional” when clearly the reason I’m asking is because I wanted him to wear gloves. He then brushes it off and has another boy help us out with the bowls, and that employee instinctively put on the gloves - bc it’s probably policy.
The original worker was just flat out rude, unsanitary, and to me was probably...
Read moreAlthough I had a satisfactory experience- greeted by 1 of 2 employees upon entering with speedy service, I was dismayed at the work attire of one of the 2 female employees....a gray hoodie sweatshirt and spandex "booty shorts".
Upon my arrival, there were 4 male customers inside (2 were cops) but seemingly the 4 knew each other and were slyly commenting and snickering about her "butt cheeks" peeking out from under the oversized hoodie as the 6 of us awaited our orders.
I was embarrassed for both her and for the establishment. This is not Hooters or Twin Peaks. Modesty should be reiterated. I remember when Rikkor opened and hired his first set of employees about 3 years ago, so I know there it is a dress code which was not...
