I'm not mad....just extremely disappointed

Well, in the middle of a night shift our crew decided to make a food run to the Taco Bell on Valley Hi. Knowing it was Taco Bell, our expectations were low. Oh how they disappointed us. Not only did they close TWO HOURS earlier than advertised....the service that was provided was that of an establishment that has:

  1. No Standards
  2. Staff that doesn't care
  3. Complete disregard for Customer Service
  4. All the makings of a Taco Bell that should be CLOSED

After placing the order, and then reluctantly receiving our order we noticed huge discrepancies with what was originally ordered. We ordered SIX sodas....received ONE.....YEAH ONE! They left out 3 complete orders.

Now, a normal human would say, "why didn't you just ask them to correct the mistake?" To respond politely, "we weren't even given the chance". After the order was practically thrown out the window at us, the staff then proceeded to shut off the lights and RUN to their car and leave.

I will not only be making the terrible service known to all friends/family/acquaintances and anyone else I come in contact with here in San Antonio.....I will personally be calling the manager and demanding that if they don't correct their actions that I will call their corporate office to make sure that the people who were responsible for this HORRIFYING experience get disciplined for their behavior.

I will NEVER be going to another Taco Bell ever again.

DISAPPOINTED is a drastic underestimate of how I feel.

Fix...

This place seems to either give a great experience, or a terrible one, and it seems to mostly come down to who is working. There seem to be a lot of people in training here, but that's just a guess. I usually order on the app because I need to grab and go on my lunchbreak - the idea being that I'm supposed to be able to put my order in remotely so it'll be ready when I arrive. This has happened ONCE. Usually I have to wait 5-10 minutes for my order. This wouldn't be so frustrating but for the fact that I have seen people who put their orders in after me get their food before me. Twice my food has been lukewarm when I got it and seemed to have been sitting while I waited. One time I ordered online and when I got there I was told they were out of the item I had ordered and paid for. To the credit of the guy working there he did offer me a substitution that was acceptable. The main problem seems to be that people here either know or don't know how to work with the taco bell app and it can cause a lot of issues- but, its clean and most of the staff have been polite if not as helpful as they could be. Basically, if using the app and it says the order is being prepared, don't count on it. Wait times are...

Worst service I've seen at Taco Bell in all my long years.

I do have a large family. That being the case, we placed our order online to give them plenty of time to prepare the order and as a matter of courtesy. Upon arriving, the night staff were all rude and mad because they actually had to do some work. They gave my wife and the kids dirty looks because of the size order we were there to pick up.

On my order, the shells for the chalupas were dry and stale, and the tortilla for my burrito was also dry and chewy.

As for my oldest son, he ordered the Mexican Pizza (picture added). This was the sloppiest job I've ever seen. It looked like they just dumped a bunch of sauce on top of it; my son didn't even eat it because it tasted terrible and looked so disgusting. It was the first time he had ever ordered one and was looking forward to eating--how sad.

The rest of our order was clearly rushed, but were "edible".

I strongly recommend NEVER coming to this particular Taco Bell--I...

Rarely waste my money at Taco Bell. Yet, my kids had practice and we needed a quick bite to eat. Order them meat and cheese crunchy tacos, I scooped out a teaspoon of meet and rest cheese. Then I said meat and cheese only and some had lettuce. I ordered 2 taco supreme with no lettuce for myself. NO sour cream and they added lettuce to both. To make things worse is that there was a hair inside one of the tacos. I should of taken my $24 elsewhere. Not sure when Taco Bell got this bad. I understand inflation and shortage of stuff but this is not acceptable to consumers. Stay Away from Valley Hi location!! Manager said he would make it good, really?? FYI: stopped using lettuce as fillers when the consumer orders NO lettuce.
