Of all the Sonic drive-in that I have been to in 45 years, this one is the worst in customer service as well as quality of product. Went to try the new Steakhouse burger and tots meal deal for 4.99 and added in a lg peach tea, it took them 15 minutes to get me my food. The burger was ok, nothing special, and the tots were luke warm, on the verge of cold and still dripping with oil. Should have known better than to stop at this location as in the past they have been not that great. If you want a better experience go further down 410 in either direction. Only reason I stopped here was because I was picking up a prescription at HEB!
To whom it may concern, while your response shows as if you care, your actions show otherwise. As can witnessed by the multitude of other negative comments that you give the same form letter response. You state that you are sorry that the customers experience did not meet theirs or your expectation and invite us to try your location again. You offer no remunerations for the lack of service nor inconvenience. Honestly, after your lackluster response, I will NEVER eat at this location again. I hope that no one else visits this location either! Truly if they want a better meal there are tons of fast food locations to eat at nearby. Read moreI purchased 3 slushes through the app this afternoon for the Valley Hi location store#3630, paid for my order and headed over to pick them up just to arrive and be told the slush machine was broken. They couldn’t refund my money id have to call and request a refund. I thought no big deal I’ll request my refund and go down the road to the next Sonic store #3934 so I Placed my order, sat in the drive though for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me just to be told the slush machine was broken here too. That is Two refunds I have to request now and I’m left wondering is this poor management or poor ownership. How do you have slush machines down during peak days they are needed and 2 different stores so close together. The stores are either not keeping up with these machine maintenance to prevent this from happening or why do you not have better maintenance to get these machines fix and back up and running for business. Pressed the button and waited about 10 minutes with no response but could see a working inside sitting on her phone. So we moved to another stall thinking that the one were at was a Broken one. Once we moved to the new stall we pressed the button because we already knew what we were ordering waited another 7 minutes with no response and could see workers inside standing together laughing at this time now 2 other cars had pulled up and one had sat for a bit and left. Right as we were to pull away we got an answer but in the middle of ordering we were told to wait because they were getting a call. Not sure if that was a personal call or a restaurant call. Got our food and left. Once I started eating my food I have found hair in my cheese and it was imbedded in the now cold cheese so I know it was not from me.
