First off I have never had a great experience with Pizza Hut ! Never, not on the southeast side, northwest or Westside of San Antonio. This trip was no different. My husband however enjoys Pizza hut. The food was hot and delicious when they actually got the order correct. I placed my order over the phone because the app kept freezing up on m. That should have been the first clue not to go. The person picking up the call sounded as if she barely spoke let alone understood English. I asked for curbside and when the order was done she told me 20 minutes. So I waited 10 mins and left to pick it up. I got there the dine in area was empty, the place was very clean and the atmosphere was inviting. The carry out counter was open so I proceeded to give My name and was handed the paper receipt and told my name would be called to have a seat. Two other people were waiting before me. Well after another 15mins and still waiting I returned to the counter and was told my order was just coming out. So I waited again, and after another 10 mins I returned to the counter and another young lady took the receipts and turns around with 1 pizza box and 3 sandwich size boxes(more then I ordered) so I tell her this is not my order and then look at the pizza, definitely not what I ordered. I asked for a meat lovers with 1/2 pineapple. I got handed a 1/2 meatlovers and 1/2 pineapple pizza, I asked for a pepperoni melt they gave me 3 meatlovers melts At this point it's 605pm I asked to see the manager and he comes out and apologizes and explains they screwed up the order and he was making my correct order himself and that he was giving me all the incorrect food they tried passing off and desert for my trouble. I appreciate all that the owner did to make up for the mistakes on my order so I couldn't be too upset he did make it right after all and that was a first all the other visits to Pizza Hut across San Antonio they always tried to make it as if I ordered in correctly and made no attempts to make things right. So if my husband gets the craving again I would return to this one but only because of the managers response to the actions of his staff. I got out of there with my correct order plus...
Read moreI specifically pre-ordered at 8am for carry-out (11:45am) and paid online thru the app. I specifically chose (11:45am) so I can pickup and head to my children's school to eat lunch with them at 11:55. Upon arrival I noticed one worker doing it all (cutting up pizza, boxing it, setting them aside with their receipts, tending to the dining area and I'm assuming the register) you can tell she was busy while two other workers ( i could see) were dragging there feet. One which apparently was a manager. So I call the busy worker from the counter bc absolutely no one was addressing the line starting to form, I stated that I had a carryout order. By this time it's 11:53. She checks and it wasn't done, hasn't even been put into the oven. She says it'll take 10 minutes but by this time, there's no way I could wait. I ask for a refund and she calls a "manager" who didn't even know what to do. She had to call someone on her phone to help her and then forced her phone onto the busy worker that was already doing everything while the manager walked away, Instead of tending to the line of costumers behind me. You can tell the busy worker was flustered, needless to say I got my refund, but I learned my lesson about pre-ordering and will not be doing that again. I missed most of my kids lunch due to me having to rush to McDonald's. So disappointing. Pizza Hut... get that worker some help because even management...
Read moreI usually don't buy pizza hut, but I was in the mood for pasta. I ordered the 2 one-topping large w/breads ticks for $22.99 and the family pasta for 15.99. When the cashier, Danielle, gave me the total, $59 and some change, I was shocked. I repeated the order back to her to ensure that's what she had. I repeated the prices she quoted me 22.99 and 15.99 and what each included to ensure I had heard correctly. I restated the prices she gave me and told her the total should have been around $40. She said, "yes, but with taxes, it comes out more." I kindly asked her to get a calculator and do the math with me. She then said that if I didnt have enough money that she could see what other deals they had. Of course that set me off!! Insinuating I dont have the money to pay was insulting. $20 in taxes is insane! Her co-worker approached and went over the order with me. Apparently she had added an extra pasta for 10.99 and was charging me for pan crust instead of...
